Hoping for a DVD too which should including more tracks and will have zero ads-YES! As for Midnight I wonder if whoever decides these things(NBC,The director,the band?) thought the song was too "out there" for U.S broadcast tv? Of course that's not the case for the fans and seeing the light harp (is that's what it's called?) could have been amazing for them to show such a large audience. I happen to love the song but have to say the video isn't my thing and I much prefer the album and live versions.

Now the link with this promo that you posted doesn't have Chris mentioned. I hadn't realized until I saw this post that they are promoting another performance;hopefully at least that will happen. I wonder if Chris decided he didn't want to discuss his personal life on the show(wants to leave the music to speak about it) and was worried it would be brought up? Of course he did get into it to some degree with Zane Lowe. Just a thought, I'd never assume to have ANY insight!

Don't know why I didn't think this before but wouldn't they be promoting the hell out of this if Chris was going to be on? Now I'm thinking he cancelled or postponed. Still watching,just in case....

Great review,thanks. Swallowed in the Sea would have been amazing,or Amsterdam. I agree about first row folks. Some of them can be people w/deep pockets who want to impress people rather than being serious fans. I know Chris often looks past the first few rows and focuses on people further back. Someone mentioned they gave away some tickets for the 5:00 show. Do we know if those were upgrades or given to people outside the venue? Haven't heard that they upgraded people in the back rows like bigger venues.

looking forward to review. Why yes that was the sound of me weeping :bigcry: while reading everyone's posts for the 9PM show. I know i was incredibly lucky to have gone at all and have been there for 5PM but why I didn't go for 9PM, get there early to try and get 5PM at the box office instead of the other way around will haunt me. I would have MUCH rather had crap seats for 9 than better ones for 5. Don't get me wrong,I had a great time at the show and wasn't disappointed just kicking myself for the choice I made!!! Listened to Haim on the drive home to prepare for my next concert this Thursday and wash away the utter disappointment of not getting seats for 9PM after we waited at the box office for tickets to drop. Enough self pity, I did get to hang out with some really,really amazing people I met on here and that's another thing about this forum that I'm truly grateful for.

Wow, just wow!!! You are so sweet and deserving!!! They don't typically hang out afterwards from what I understand. Did you meet them out back? Inside the venue? Please share, please!! I'm really happy for you and to know I hung out with the girl who hung out with Chris,Johnny,Dan and Phil. :D. Was anyone else from our little group there?? How I wish I'd gone for the 9:00 show instead of 5:00. C'est la vie or as Winston Marshall from Mumford and Sons would say "don't sweat the small stuff" Oh who am I kidding?? This ain't small stuff. Okay,enough blabbering i know I should be happy I got to go at all.
