  1. I totally agree. They have enough hits to do it too.
  2. I never realized there was an unnatural change to Chris' voice. I always assumed it was just age.
  3. 28 songs would be awesome but realistically, I would be happy with 25. But the setlist was great.
  4. Here is one for next tour: 1. LP6 opener 2. Square one 3. Yellow 4. LP6 2nd 5. The Scientist 6. Trouble 7. GPASUYF 8. Politik 9. LP6 3rd 10. Violet Hill 11. In My Place 12. Lover's in Japan 13. Shiver 14. LP6 4th 15. A Rush of Blood to the Head 16. Paradise 17 ETDIAWF Encore 1 18. MX 19. HLH 20. LP6 ender 21. Clocks Encore 2 22. Viva La Vida 23. LP6 Lead single 24. White Shadows 25. Fix You 26. Amsterdam
  5. MX was a great album that wasn't up to the expectations of a lot of fans. Not quality wise, but everyone expected either Viva 2.0 or maybe even a Rush 2.0. WHat they got was something much different and even I admit that I wasn't a fan in the beginning, but MX is one of my favorite albums now. Pop or not, there was a lot of strong tunes on the album and to say that it was anything worse than at least good is something I don't agree with at all.
  6. Sounds awesome. Looking forward to seeing it.
  7. They always do, but I'd love that classy look. And as for the issue of wearing a suit, Justin Timberlake wears a suit and he does a whole lot more movement then Chris Martin does. I don't think that would be a problem.
  8. Say what you mean But it won't change a thing I'm sick of the secrets Stood on the edge Tied to the noose But you came along and you cut me loose You came along and you cut me loose You came along and you cut me loose
  9. I think Coldplay shouldn't release to much info about the music, however, they should release some artwork and whatnot. I think it would be fun to try guess the mood and tone of the album by simply looking at album cover or other artwork.
  10. Moving to mars wins it for me
  11. 2016 is way too long. I'd be graduated and I probably couldn't afford to get good seats when they went on their tour.
  12. No more Muse :P Okay... so LP6... I think I have discussed all possible avenues for the album. I'm going to die if I am not given info about it
  13. A very realistic setlist. I couldn't do it though lol, I would have to squeeze in Amsterdam and Trouble
  14. I'm the biggest Beatles fan you could ever see. I've seen Paul McCartney once and it was amazing. So when I see people proclaiming that the beatles make Coldplay look like garbage, that just isn't true. No one is saying Coldplay is better, but really, this poll is saying that Coldplay is more popular than the Beatles right now. People have to accept the fact that bands from the sixties to eighties will always be remembered, but the masses, the majority, is the younger generations who see Coldplay as the best of their time. And keep in mind that those asses who post there don't represent all people who like older music. They are just trolls who see a nice opportunity to spoil a fan's day with negative comments,
  15. I don't know if anything can really wreck Coldplay. Unless Coldplay just started writing pure utter billboard shit and featured Nicki Minaj on two of their songs, I don't think they will lose much of their fan base. Simply due to the fact they have made so many quality albums, people love them for that. At worst, the critics will slay the album. At best, the dub step will be innovative and will mix in with, what I hope to be, a very dark and emotional album. Of course I'm probably just dreaming :p
  16. Dub step would be awesome. It would have electric influences like MX, but instead of uplifting synths, darker dub step. But with that, please add in some harder rock songs (a wish that won't be granted).
  17. I don't mind some stadium rock, but why commit an album to one genre or sub-genre when you can branch out. Maybe two or three acoustic songs, a few electric rock songs, and a few anthemic songs. I think it's why I enjoyed AROBTTH, because they had a bit of everything.
  18. I think people (haters) on some of the sites I've seen that say that Coldplay doesn't belong with e likes of the Beatles etc. are over reacting. This was a poll for a pretty modern radio station, not a critics only poll. Of course the modern band won, though it is important to note that the top ten was very unbiased to what generation the album was in. AROBTTH is one of the biggest albums in the 21st century, by far. In twenty years, it will considered that way and it's already started to happen.
  19. I have been listening to Moving to Mars on repeat for a while and if they could incorporate this sound into the new album, a gloomy, but hopeful mood, I'd be thrilled.
  20. I don't think it a 24+ setlist will happen, but I think it isn't dreaming to hope that it might happen. It's not like Coldplay doesn't have enough hits. They seem to overload new songs into their setlist every tour, which is fine trusting that they are good, but I wished rarer, yet amazing songs got more regular live time. Amsterdam, Trouble, Shiver, White Shadows, Strawberry Swing all are songs that are live favorites and if you add them to an ordinary set list it could look like this: 1. LP6 opener 2. Politik 3. In My Place 4. Shiver 5. LP6 6. Speed of Sound 7. Yellow 8. Paradise 9. Violet Hill 10. GPASUYF 11. What if 12. LP6 13 Trouble 14. LP6 15. Strawberry Swing 16. Viva La Vida 17. LP6 Closer Encore 1 18. LP6 Lead Single 19. Us Against the World 20. White Shadows 21. Fix You Encore 2 22. Twisted Logic (:D) 23. The Scientist 24. Clocks 25. Lover In Japan 26. Amsterdam Is that so bad? As I said, perhaps it won't be this album. I am hoping for a 24 song set list (probably around 2 hours long). Eventually though, if they keep recording new albums, they will should stop cutting and start adding to the set list, or lower the amount of new songs. No one wants a concert (I hope) without Clocks or The Scientist in it.
  21. That would be awesome.
  22. Green eyes is a good song, but I just find the urge to skip it when I get onto the track. I guess it's just my taste of music.
  23. Viva La Vida is actually my favorite album, just a tiny inch ahead of Rush. Only because it doesn't have a weak song in it and Rush has Green eyes. But yeah, I only started listened to Coldplay because I had heard Paradise at the gym I was going to and I thought it was a good song. Not many thirteen year old males at the time were listening to Coldplay at the time, so I never was introduced to them. I sort of had to fall on the.
