GS was a bit stripped down and acoustic... Get ready for poppy songs again lol. But yes Chris and the band does not care what people think although I think he mainly means people who are not CP fans. LP7 Here is my prediction on what LP7 will be like or sound like.. I was driving home today and several things came to my mind... Coldplay never fails to surprise us with the way their new material sounds like. MX was a shocker, older CP fans kept praying for a acoustic like album and they got that with GS. Now what's next?? A lot of Coldplay fans may not like this but I'm guessing the band will come out with MX 2.0. :X The band likes to leaves clues and my guess is that they have left some interesting clues for LP7. MONTHS before MX was announced they changed their website and had an icon on the top of their website that resembled a book with MX on it... I remember we thought it resembled Mexico or a Roman numeral number.. Ok so here is why I think we are getting MX2. - I tried to find it but didn't someone here say they say Mylo Xylotwo somewhere in the artwork? - Chris said the next album would likely "complete a story". Many people though it meant the end of the band... No way. I immediately though the next album would be the 2nd part of a previous album. Maybe Viva 2? MX2? Final Chapter of GS? Mylo Xylotwo? - it looks as though the the Xylobands are getting an upgrade and are going to be able to change colors now.. Those videos on Xylobands Facebook look pretty cool - speaking of changing colors, the beginning and end of the True Love video displays lettering in changing colors...Is it leading into the next era?? I could be totally wrong but I had to post what I think may happen.. I had a long drive home today and all these ideas were going through my mind. I honestly love MX and the spray paint art theme. Heck, I even bought 2 gshocks just because Chris would wear them to concerts.. Again I could be totally wrong but I'm predicting were getting MX2... All I know if that the album is going to be BIG. Don't panic everyone!! (See what I did there?) lol anyway, it's obvious what Coldplay is up to. Even before the album was released there were rumors about this album being more of a side project before the next big album (LP7) is released. Be lucky that a huge band like Coldplay were willing to give us a more acoustic, low key album before releasing something that the commercial world will enjoy more. This is definitely the new Politik...and not because it sounds similar.. this song is DEEP, and maybe the most emotional song to date. Chris said this is their best song on the album.. and although it's not my favorite, I agree. It's funny because Chris also said that Politik is probably in his top 2-3. I understand which CP songs he believes are the best (Clocks, Politik, Yellow, Fix You), songs that are make you feel a sense of emotion while singing. The part "Call it True, call it trueeeee loooveeeeee" makes me feel lucky to be living on this planet. Anyway, True Love is AMAZING.
