Hi was thinking about what bands influenced coldplay. just thought it might be a good idea, as i haven't heard some of the music by these bands. are there anymore bands that aren't on the list? (in no particular order) Jeff Buckley U2 Radiohead New Order Kraftwerk Brian Eno Echo And The Bunnymen Sigor Ros Kate Bush Johnny Cash Mercury Rev Bob Dylan Flaming Lips The Beatles REM David Bowie Elbow Pink Floyd Arcade Fire Interpol Maybe some of the bands influences aren't just of a musical nature, i don't know?

i think coldplay did record a demo of the song 'gravity' which they gave to embrace. thats the only studio recording but it is not available

shame really as they could have been massive. barrat and doerty were great together. there was a programme on BBC3 earlier about doerty.

noel and andy from the band were just interview on a programme on ITV1 called 'oasis... In Profile' showed a few old videos too live forever wonderwall all around the world importance of being idle

just remembered another one. the track 'talk' was used for the programm coast on BBC 2 last week. that really did sound epic :)

and the track 'square one' was used for the football highlights programme Match Of The Day 2

i heard 'where is my boy' on CSI Miami a couple of weeks back, that sounded brilliant :)
