  1. I have another one that does the same sort of thing, although it takes the other way out and severely simplifies it
  2. I think it is. I've played through most of them and haven't found any noticeable discrepancies (although it does try to put piano parts where there aren't any, like the beginning of Yellow)
  3. I edited my last post, which in hindsight probably wasn't the best idea
  4. I took that picture when I first got it; lemme find it and I'll take a picture of the ToC Here ya go
  5. Just a music store. I think it's a local thing (it's called Guitar Center) but I dunno; it may be elsewhere too.
  6. And on the topic of singing, I actually have a pretty big range, although my voice is kinda bad. I can play instruments way better than I can sing.
  7. Really late reply, but I got a songbook with the piano notes, guitar chords, and lyrics for all the b-sides :awesome:
  8. Yes! Exactly! I go to a school that's at least slightly better than the others in my area, so it tries to be focused on learning, but there's still that daycare-like feeling that I absolutely hate! I want to go to school and learn for the sake of knowledge, not just to keep me out of my parents' way for seven hours a day!
  9. Just throwing in my two cents here, I agree completely with your first statement; people don't care at all about what's important in High School (and what they do care about, I find to be pretty stupid). The second statement struck me as kinda mean though. I can see why you would think that, but, at least for me, I like so many academic things that I can't narrow down my interests to one thing that I would like to do with the rest of my life. I'm only a sophomore, so I guess I still have time do decide, but I have absolutely no clue as to where I want to go to college, much less what I want to do. EDIT: Oh hey, my 500th post!
  10. THATS WHAT MY HEAD THINKS EVERY TIME I SEE IT! It's actually kinda annoying; I'm just reading a post on here and then VLUHVOHDAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHF
  11. Next week is exams for me, and then I'm done! :awesome: On an unrelated note, I've never gotten used to the acronym VLVODAAHF. I'm fine with just Viva or VLV, but with the alternate title, I read it as someone like gargling or doing a Skyrim shout or something, and I don't really know why.
  12. ~*piano so kawaii*~
  13. This is the best thread.
  14. ^ breathe me is AMAZING
  15. ^Thanks, I really don't want to think about that booty. that beautiful, well-proportioned... uh yeah so coldplay on the voice, hooray!
  16. Shhh, I'm trying not to think of that...
  17. This is my first time too, and it was really awesome :) Sorry if my reviews are kinda bare; I wrote them while also avoid — I mean, working on a paper for school. 1. I didn't like it too much at first, it was a bit too... funky, I guess. As the song went on, however, it grew on me. (the outro is really really nice) 2. From the start, I loved this one. I've heard a few things from this artist before (you forgot to take out all the track info ;)) and I'll definitely have to check out some more of his songs. 3. Matt! I absolutely LOVE this guy! Great taste, mixtape-maker! I really have to listen to this album more; I tend to only really listen to Some Mad Hope. 4. Not bad, but again, kinda funky. I grew accustomed to it as well as #1, but I didn't particularly like it at first. Thinking about it, I don't really know why I dislike funk. I'll have to listen to more of it. 5. Woah, the voice is extremely stereo-y. That threw me off a bit, haha. The strings in the background are phenomenal; I love songs that can work them in smoothly as this one does. I'll definitely have to add this to my iTunes. 6. Right from the start, I love the drumbeat. The layers work together mostly well, but the vocals seem kinda hastily thrown on. The singer's voice reminds me a little bit of the xx, and the song itself has a lot of interesting dissonance. 7. Kinda electronic, but in an ok way. It's a bit pulsing, but I think I can learn to like it quite a bit. The vocals are really nice; I like his voice. 8. This is probably my favorite of the obscure cp songs; I love it and cant help singing along :) 9. Oh, I've heard this! I like this one! I didn't recognize it until the chorus, but after that I knew I'd heard it somewhere! That's another one I'll have to add to my iTunes 10. This has a really GS-ish vibe; I like it. The organ (maybe accordion?) part in the background and the percussive effects are really cool. The singer's accent is kinda funny too :) I really liked when the banjo-sounding part and the other voice came in. Again, the outro is really nice. I'm gonna add this to my iTunes too. 11. Haha, another funk song. I'm starting to actually enjoy these :) 12. Is this Brennisteinn? I know it's some form of Sigur Rós; I'd recognize that angelic meowing anywhere, haha. It's a bit more intense than their other albums, so I think it is. I quite enjoyed this one. :) 13. I liked this one from the start. The singer's voice is really nice. I thought that the acoustic-ness was really nice as well, and the gradual layering of instruments was really cool. 14. Woah, this was pretty different. I wasn't expecting this. It's a really electric, house music-y track, with really heavy vocals. I don't like this one too much. 15. This one is pretty nice. I like the instruments, but for some reason, the singer's voice kinda annoyed me at the beginning, although I eventually got used to it. 16. Wow, this is pretty cool! I'm totally adding it to my iTunes, especially if I can find an instrumental version. What language is it, by the way? I can't place it... It sounds like some kind of southeast asian language, maybe. 17. This one! Wow, this is old! isn't it from when they were still The Starfish? I wonder if there's a full version floating around on the internet somewhere... 18. You sure like this kind of stuff, don't you? :) 19. Oh, this is really nice. I'm gonna add this to my iTunes for sure. I love the stripped-down style and the guy's voice. 20. This is amazing as well, I really really like it! Instrumental songs are almost always good. 21. OH MY GOSH THIS SONG HAHAHA I FORGOT HOW MUCH I USED TO LIKE IT
  18. Wait, CP's on The Voice tonight? I gotta see this!
  19. ^I can actually imagine someone booking Coldplay for something more private. "You see Chris, my sister has this birthday coming up, and it'd be real nice if you could come play a couple songs from Frozen, ya know?"
  20. Haha, the same kind of thing happened to me a little while ago. I was in a store and What If came on the store's radio. I started singing along and everyone else in the store looked at me like I was crazy.
  21. Haha, I'm not sure that that's the best way to get a reply
  22. WAKE UP BRITISH PEOPLE WE NEED YOUR RECORDING SERVICES
  23. I've been scouring the web trying to find the bonus tracks, but I've had no luck so far. We cant ask for PMs of stuff, so I'm most certainly not asking for one with a link to either hear or download them, if you know what I'm sayin'. :wink3:
  24. Stupid capitalism. I hope they don't do this with any other albums. Really? I guess everyone has their own opinions...
