  1. Looks like they have a Parlophone tipster because the same one knows about Kylie Minogue too. So there could be truth to the rumor, plus it doesn't seem like a stretch at all with how much they've been in the studio in the last year
  2. OMG!!!!
  3. Would it be too much to just ask for some NEWS about LP6 before... March? Please????
  4. Tampa, Florida: 31C, full sun, no humidity. Bliss
  5. That's what I'm thinking. I just can't see them going in some ridiculous experimental direction, so I think we'll get a nice blend of all their genres.
  6. The gentleman who cut my hair last week was YOUNGER than me for the first time ever. I just couldn't mentally process that.
  7. Omgxylobands! See, I knew they weren't going anywhere.
  8. I almost like the idea of a surprise album drop better than knowing the date in advance.

  15. I think because of the success of the MX tour in terms of ticket sales and global appeal, we should expect an uptick in ticket prices next time around. I wonder, does that number include merch sales?
  16. Thong Song by Sisqo lol
  17. Seriously just the thought that they'll tour again soon helps me wake up in the morning without being in a sh*tty mood hahaha
  18. So true though! Never done E, but the effect has gotta be the same lol
  19. Having attended hundreds of concerts, U2 and Muse definitely had the most impressive stages. If you like U2 and haven't joined their fan club, do it so you can get the 360 tour book that discusses, in detail, the amount of effort required to set that stage up. There are some pretty amazing behind-the-scenes pictures in there as well. But in terms of total concert production, I think audience engagement pushed Coldplay's MX tour right up there with the big boys. Just think about concerts that you vividly remember from a visual standpoint (not just music), and I guarantee each and every person who has seen the MX tour will never forget the effect the Xylobands had on the production. Most other concerts, I tend to forget after a couple years and sometimes months, and if it weren't for my ticket stubs and photographs, those memories would mostly be lost. But I think still being able to close my eyes at night and picture literally thousands of glowing lights as a background to a Coldplay song playing in my head... that is a picture I will never be able to forget. I'm sorry, but I have to respectfully disagree with those who think the Xylobands were tacky, irritating, etc. We all have different memories, perspectives, and feelings on where the band has been and where they are going, but that is what makes us the best fans on earth. :)
