  1. most of his solo stuff is pretty solid, especially the "So" album. But his most brilliant work was in Genesis. The "Lamb Lies Down On Broadway" album is all Gabriel, and it's a masterpiece!
  2. the wall of sound does add a uniqueness to it, but it can be irritating after awhile... almost ruins some of the songs
  3. yeah his voice is irritating at times, but its nice to see coldplay covered for once
  4. coldplay on a ferry
  5. Has anyone listened to this George Harrison album? It's brilliant, what a fantastic album this is. "Isn't It A Pity" is such a beautiful song, and I think Chris Martin said that "The Scientist" is based on it. Anyway, I can't stop listening to this album, what are your thoughts?
  6. i agree with noel, but he asked for that one! lets hope jay z doesn't make a rock record, holy moses was that embarrassing!
  7. haha i love it, some people make the craziest things on here
  8. she is just another example of how mainstream music is going down the drain. ugh i can't stand it, its people like her that make me angry because i don't know how these people get record deals when theres bands that are infinity times more talented than she is but can't get airplay. its bullshit if you ask me! plus she's all talk, just look at her video. there's no girl kissing going on there.
  9. i thought i was the only one who noticed this!! i thought that was funny the way johnny reacted, he was definitely about to crack up. i thought those hosts were so cheesy and stupid.
  10. nice videos haha i loved that performance, chris looked like he was having a blast!
  11. i actually haven't heard of them until a couple minutes ago, they're ok i guess
  12. why the hatin'? come on have you REALLY listened to the song? just listen to the simple things like the layered organs and how there's two different tones going on there. the message in the lyrics is a good one too, almost channeling "I still haven't found what i'm looking for" by u2. I think its the most clever song on the album. Also, youtube the daily show performance. listen to how the drums come in on the second verse. perfection!
  13. i thought that was a very fun performance, wish i could've been there! they played some great songs too, quite unexpected to hear clocks.
  14. its business, its business time!
  15. thank goodness, maybe America can become liked again.
  16. honestly, he's probably right... if they made another X&Y album there would be no hope for Coldplay. This guy is a legend who has worked with the likes of Genesis, U2, Roxy Music, etc... so i think he knows what he's talking about.
  17. haha yeah boy
  18. yes lots of Js
  19. finally got a job yay, viva la vida's out now yay, but i'm still bored
  20. ha! nice one! i thought prospekt was actually michael jackson
  21. :laugh3:
  22. You may think I'm crazy, but to me "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends" has a definite R&B/Hip-Hop feel to it. The influence of Kanye and Jay-Z on Chris cannot be denied. For instance, "Lost!" has a hip-hop swagger to it with it's steady beat and percussion lines. "Violet Hill" also has that big beat that you can't help but bob your head to, especially during the chorus. You all may hate the likes of Jay Z and Kanye West, but there's no denying that these guys have helped shaped this great album in some way. Maybe Chris and Co. have finally embraced their inner gangsta.
  23. it better be longer than the twisted logic tour, none of this one and a half hour bull shit
  24. ew myspace is gross and grimey... facebook is much nicer
  25. i dreamt last night that i was pushing this friend of mine who i have a crush on and the girl from the show "Scrubs" in a red wagon around town.... yeah i don't know either.
