Ofcourse we all expect #1 from a band at this caliber sad tho that they wont get that #1 in NL anytime soon 400K hoping in US! lets say when all is said and done 6M for the album and in the long run 8M thru the next era

Im a huge coldplay fan but i feel this song is such a letdown in the album the only bad song in it. I tried my best to love or like this song since Feb. but the highest it got to my rating is a 5/10 but now its just a 3/10 BORING worst part of the album........ i want to skip this so bad..... vocoder doesnt work anymore for me feel unnatural and too empty I cant force myself to love this anylonger - 3/10

its pretty good for a bonus track could be an album track on VLV Love the verses its so magical the start of the song sends shivers down my spine and sets the mood for the song, makes me nostalgic All your friends and Open Firreee parts are magic chris vocals and emotions yet again never fail on the song 8/10

its not all about high pumping energy kicking singles O has potential and Ink too id say 3rd single : O 4th if ever: Ink or Another Arms

However the euphoria this track brings is way on par with Yellow , VLV Paradise, Fix You, Clocks and Fix you

I agree this has some VLV elements to it which is why I loved it at first listen. Catchy melody Varied instruments Simple lyrics yet relatable and metaphoric? 10/10

So far after 5 listens ( Standard Edition) 1. "Ink" - Such a subtle and feel good song the melody is so catchy and the instruments ahhhhh i melt 2. "A Sky Full of Stars" euphoria! 3. "O" nice falsetto 4. "True Love" - kinda lacking in lyrics though some lyrics are the best in the album though lyrics shoudlve been more 5. Always in My Head" 6. Magic" 7. "Another's Arms" 8 Oceans 9. "Midnight so far 7/10 for the whole album

I cant seem to Rip Ghost Stories :( I know they are keen about piracy but comeon! do I have to buy a cd player which is so obsolete nowadays just to listen to ghost stories? or maybe i made the wrong decision buying legally and shouldve just downloaded an illegal copy and can just copy to my cellphone so frustrating! error: windows cannot rip one or more tracks on the cd! :rolleyes:

i have eagerly awaited the coldplay since March and ever since Midnight came out. It was such a happy time for me musically to wait and anticipate coldplays release and to think it would be one of their best albums to come. Just to find out after release date that itd not yet released here in record ships in the Phillipines!! I have been discploned enough to not listen to any of the non~singles even though it was so tempting...because i knew they all would sound good based on reception :( i dont know and i cant take it to go on youube and listen to the whole album stream! Im afraid it could ruin the magical feeling of buying a legal copy and listening to it the first time to know your moneys worth.... any pinoys bought one yet? Its so hard to get a copy! Ive mlbeen asking around alot to no avail! :(

At first I was surprised.. a Coldplay song that starts with base? and then wow its so simple and xx like then I thought it was a let down...... it felt meaningless and bland. But after playing it in repeat for about 10 times. I began to realize how beautiful and raw this song is Chris's vocals and emotion in the song.... his search for long lost love love made him blind , confused and kinda at loss of words. the peak of the song is chris's falsetoo " I wanna fall .. fall so hardddd" and " I dont know , I dont know , and I dont.." has a great sense of doubt and a sense of lost in love 9/10

let time do its job maybe you had TOO much high expectations.....theyre not GODS you know but theyre close :D.. give it time and youll see i think.....

im ashamed to know that your a coldplay fan..... you jsut cant appreciate any of their music.... geez

Dont worrry more review to come around 20 i think that should make it HIGHER i think hopefully around 70+ but the score is subjective anyway

Pls can you research first before making theories or statements about FLOPS or what not unless you have full concrete facts about charts or knowledge?... Magic is doing well for a first single and to coldplays standards its doing great.. they are not single sellers but album sellers... and usually their 2nd singles are the hit singles (VLV, Paradise) wait for ASFOS then youll notice the pattern.. I know a lot about music charts and Im telling you magic is doing good.
