Isn't ASFOS going to be released May 5th?

Few thoughts: I thought 14 songs was ok for an unreleased album. And I would assume yellow and the majority of the unreleased Ghost Stories songs would be in once the album is released and they have a proper tour. This was a promotional show. I'm disappointed I didn't hear ASFOS but I would hope everyone would obey Chris' wishes. We will hear it soon enough.

Honestly what you are probably going to get is an EP like Prospekts March.

Quality over Quantity. Would you rather hear 12 songs in which some were good and others just so so (like my favorite album MX had 3 tracks less than a minute long), or 9 really good songs. I think the band likes quality.

Does this mean that there will be no big tour? Or could we see more of these shows this summer? I hope cause I live in Ohio and it would cost way too much for me to drive in NYC + tickets+ hotel

This is probably the most hyped I've been for a Coldplay song ever. A Viva la Vida/Yellow/DLIBYH mix of a song? I have a feeling this might be their greatest hit yet.

I think a lot of us are trying to over-analyze the situation. Truthfully we really don't know what has gone on. Maybe they came to this decision last year and have lived with this decision for a while now and are just announcing it today because they both don't want it to interfere with their plans (Chris going on tour *hopefully* and G with her acting career) and they just thought to get it out of the way now. We just don't know and I think it would be unfair to analyze all the events leading up to it to both CM and GP to try to piece it together, because we won't ever know and like they asked for they need their privacy. Sometimes things just don't work out. They have two very big careers that need a lot of attention and its tough enough doing that. Just hope for the best for everyone involved.
