  1. Does any one know of a reliable website, not ticket master, where I can get tickets for not too much over face value?
  2. I would like to see Such a Rush on such a list, eventhough I don't see that happening.

  5. Coldplay's Chris Martin grovels to 3am after taking a pop at Daily Mirror in Q Awards acceptance speech By 3am 7/10/2008 Chris Martin and 3am's Danielle Lawler (Pic:DM) After branding Chris Martin the “most boring man in pop”, we expected nothing more than the cold shoulder. But when we bumped into Coldplay’s frontman on the red carpet at the Q Awards yesterday, the unthinkable happened... he was actually quite nice. In fact, cheeky charmer Chris had us weak at the knees with his outrageous flirting and compliments. So imagine our shock when he then got up on stage to accept his award for Best Act In The World – and slagged us off! He mumbled: “Thanks to everyone we’re friends with apart from people who slag us off and the Daily Mirror.” He got roundly booed by the Grosvenor House Hotel audience for that and maybe the reaction that greeted his petty outburst made him have a sudden change of heart. Because as we marched over to his table to confront him afterwards, Chris suddenly started grovelling – and, boy, can this man grovel. He could grovel for gold if it was an Olympic sport. “I’m so sorry,” he snivelled. “It was all a mistake – I know you’re lovely. I was so nervous – you try and get up there and do a speech off the cuff. Advertisement - article continues below » “I meant to mention another horrible newspaper and for some reason the Mirror popped into my head. I genuinely didn’t mean anything – I’m so sorry. You’re my number one girls.” Hmm, if you say so Chris but we’re up against stiff competition... ex-Catatonia star Cerys Matthews for one. Cerys turned into a giggling schoolgirl when he admitted that he had a crush on her. As Coldplay accepted the award from Cerys, Chris gushed: “Eight to 10 years ago we supported Catatonia on tour and you let me hold your cigarette and I thought, ‘Maybe I’ve got a chance’.” Blushing Cerys admitted that he still did. Ooh-er! And then lusty Chris revealed his personal fantasies about Girls Aloud. He said: “I can’t just say I fancy Cheryl, it’s like a Rubik’s cube. You need all the colours together, just like 3am. You can’t have one without the other.” OK Chris, you’re back in our good books (only just). But we don’t know what Gwyneth would say.... http://www.mirror.co.uk/2008/10/07/coldplay-s-chris-martin-grovels-to-3am-after-taking-a-pop-at-daily-mirror-in-q-awards-acceptance-speech-115875-20780126/
  6. I lost my cool over Coldplay Kaiser Chief Ricky reveals his most chilling encounter By Dean Marsh, 05/10/2008 THEY sang I Predict A Riot—but Kaiser Chief frontman Ricky Wilson couldn’t have predicted what would happen when he met rival band Coldplay . . . For he made a fool of himself by moaning that he was BUSIER than Chris Martin’s hit group. Leeds lad Ricky bumped into them at a recording studio. He confessed: “Whenever bands get together, all they do is moan about how busy their touring and promotional schedules are. “I did the same when I met Coldplay. I felt such an idiot, because they looked at me like, ‘Oh, you think Kaiser Chiefs are busy? Try being in Coldplay, mate.’ “They were right, too. After all, Coldplay have got the planet to save as well as selling billions of albums. “What have Kaiser Chiefs tried to save? Leeds United. Mind you, the band’s not doing bad this season.” Ricky, 30, laughs realising he’s just called his beloved football team a band. “See! I’m that obsessed with music I think everyone’s in a band. It’s tragic.” Joking aside, Ricky hates groups whingeing about how tough their lives are. “I’ve got it easy,” he insists. “Kaiser Chiefs are my favourite band in the country, and I’m their singer. How great is that? “Making music has never felt like work. It’s a doddle. That’s not because we’re creative geniuses. But the hardest job in the studio is a lot more fun than the easiest day in my last job—folding trousers in a shop.” Ricky admits the last album Yours Truly, Angry Mob came across as them carping about being famous. “That was really stupid,” he said. “How pathetic of us. Being famous is f***ing great.” There are no such problems on the new album Off With Their Heads, which is out on October 20. The first single, Never Miss A Beat, has already gone down a storm when the band have played it live. It features Lily Allen on impromptu backing vocals after she popped in to see Kaisers producer Mark Ronson. Ricky said: “She was really down to earth. Some singers would have demanded to sing a proper verse.” Never Miss A Beat is out tomorrow. http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/entertainment/article38132.ece
  7. Ah, I see. I misunderstood the article when I first read it, at first I had the impression that Keane had actually said that they gave away the name, oops.
  8. Didn't the oracle say a couple of days ago that it wasn't Tim from the band Keane that gave coldplay their name? Because that's not what it says on this article: Ever since their first break in 2004, Keane has been compared to another British band, Coldplay, fronted by Chris Martin. Ironically Keane was once known as Coldplay. “We changed the name of the band to Cherry Keane, thanks to a kind old lady we knew back then. Later we simplified it to Keane to avoid any Cherokee confusion,” said Rice-Oxley, who later suggested the name Coldplay to his college mate, Chris Martin. Any regrets for not retaining the name? “No, none at all. We love the name Keane. I am glad that both Keane and Coldplay have brought rock back into the music scene successfully.” http://www.nst.com.my/Current_News/NST/Monday/Features/20080921160423/Article/indexpull_html kind of strange that they are reporting this

I go back to school on the 20th, and yeah I'm also one of those people that's been going to sleep at 6am for the entire summer and now has to wake up at 6am. Man, this is going to be a tough semester.
  18. Lol, Entertainment Weekly has a fall movie preview featuring Harry Potter. There are some new photos in there, I really hope that they don't give away the whole movie in pictures before it comes out.
  19. According to the reports I've read, the film production has been right on schedule, and is pretty much done. There was a quote from Alan Horn saying he had seen the film and that it was fabulous. I don't think they will be making any substantial changes during the extra time, if any at all.
