Thirteen Senses
they are rather good. not a patch on thirteen senses. this album is probably the best debut album i have heard since Parchutes. Thats how highly i think of it. History is amazing. Every track is brilliantly done, the production is of the highest quality. also, anyone comparing them to franz can stop cos they are practically opposite ends of the indie genre. and thus not compatible for such comparison. lots of big words used there... well done me.... :D

Went for What If? In the end. Either that or Talk.....

"Gravity" in their new album?
they could do better, but its not a special enough song for a coldplay record so rather than it go to waste, it goes to embrace. waste/embrace - kind of rhymes...... anyways.....
-
moses
love moses, but i agree, i'd rather have all new stuff on the new album. i think the live recording does it justice anyway.....

NME interview
Well thats a relief. I thought the interview was quite good, anyone notice that they introduced coldplay as being "about to release their best (and final?) album". That suggests its going to be amazing - i was getting paranoid about it being not as good as i'd hoped after the MTV review didn't love it that much. We've all been waiting so so long, i need it to be loved to justify the wait..!!!!

Bloc Party

The Anti Darkness Thread
wow this is my favourite thread in the whole world!!!!   the darkness are a bunch of talentless arrogant cheap nobheads, whose joke has long outstayed its welcome. their refusal to accept they are a joke band is the only funny thing about them. everyone is laughing at them, and they cant see. and i bet they all have really small genetalia.

The Official "Doves" Thread
i dont think its as good as the last broadcast, although having said that it is the kind of album you grow to love whereas the last broadcast was more immediate. Its good, but black and white town is easily the stand out track, and its really different to most of the rest of the album, which is a shame cos i thought it was all gonna be in a similair vein to b&wtown

South
I got their second album last year, and yes motiveless crime is tres good, and they are a good band. but its just one of those albums i never listen to for some reason. i just can't get into them the same way as i can other similair bands. heard them on xfm doing motiveless crime though, and that was extremely impressive!
