unfortunately contracts don't mean shit in football nowadays. Robbie Savage only recently signed a four year contract with Birmingham, now he's buggared off to Blackburn. With the Harry thing, think your chairman screwed that one up by appointing that Director Of Football. Look on the bright side, Southhampton are more likely to go down than you, especially without Beattie. :D

I like it, but i can see why Chris gave it to Embrace... its not outstanding. Ashes by embrace is better.

The best bit about Clocks is no matter how many times you hear it (and it used to seem like it was the only thing Uk radio stations EVER played) you can never bore of it.

This is an outstanding album. I'm going to see him at York Fibbers sometime in Feburary. :)

Athlete, Last Night, Radio 1 Anyone hear athlete on radio1 last night? Even better, was anyone actually at the gig? They played quite a few new songs, they were really really good. My favourite new songs were half life and wires.

According to the NME, who've heard 6 new tracks, one of them is 'synth heavy'. But it also features 'Beatles style strings' also, and ends with chris sing "woo hoo hoo". Sounds like an odd mix... Sorry can't at this moment remember which song they were talking about, possibly x+Y, i dunno.

August 19th 2003, V2003, Staffordshire Quite simply head and tails above every other band we had seen, and there were some good ones that weekend (Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Ash etc). The best way to end a festival ever... fooking stunning. Didn't even try leaving the field, just stood there until the amazement had worn off. We had stayed at the front of that stage all day, since midday to be at the front, and despite losing some ground because of the moshers during the Foo Fighters we were probably between 10 and 15 metres away from them... wow. :D

Zelda and Mario. Easily best games series ever. Latest Zelda (The Wind Waker) was a bit easier though. Although maybe thats good, the n64 ones were near impossible! Mario 64 was the first game i ever actually owned, fond memories.

i support the mighty Grimsby Town... we beat Liverpool in the cup 3 seasons ago.... and they had quite a strong team out. That's all we can boast about thpugh. :embarrased:

Trying to read Sons and Lovers, but keep getting bored so re-reading The Secret History by Donna Tarrt instead. Which is ace.

Great movie with an even better soundtrack. Particularly enjoyed the bit with The Shins... what a great band.
