Yay! She answered me only like ten minutes after I posted the question! Haha, the reason why I used the word 'gutted' is cuz I can play the piano by ear, and I can't read music either, but since I actually got a keyboard for myself at the beginning of this year, I've been trying HARD to learn how to read notes. Like, seriously, I borrowed books for beginners and I still don't get it. I was planning on giving up and just settling on knowing how to play by ear, even if it means never being able to play really really well. So when Chris said he can't read music, I just felt really silly. :nice:

Ah! I was wondering about this as well earlier this week. I saw it being given away to callers on a show here called The Quickie, and I thought maybe I'm just stupid and that this edition has been out since ages ago... So it's an Asian only release? Wowee! :D EDIT: The case looks so delicious. Me wants it! But is it worth it?

Her new album's been leaked online... Naturally, I listened to Lukas and Fun first... :P The songs are pretty. :) You can kinda tell Lukas is a Coldplay song by the... (forgive me if I get the musical term wrong, I have no background in drum playing) off-beatness of the drum beat... I don't know, but it's very Viva-era Coldplayesque.

I just got round to getting the new album, Black Swan. Don't like it. At all. The fact that I hate it really depresses me, because I love all their previous albums, and I love the band and I think I might even be a bit in love with Joel (his voice makes me melt!). So listening to this very mediocre 'generic' kinda alt-rock (think Snow Patrol's latest effort) after brilliant songs like You Got the Style, The Outsiders, Wires and pretty much 90% of the songs from their other albums, I just feel like I want to pretend this album never happened. :(

Ugh, the HYSTW from Help: A Day In the Life is so powerful, it scares me. I love it. And yeah, I don't know why they didnt put it in the album. You know, that we're all suddenly talking about X&Y, I remember how great it really actually was. Square One is one of their best songs ever. It's easy to forget that when the members of the band themselves keep dissing the album. :shrug:

Haha, I was shocked at the PM from ArnIe too! Went and searched the forum to see if his thread was active again. Missed that robot.

People with a passion for what they do inspire me to live life to the fullest. Interesting, good music inspire me to write some tunes of my own. Good literature inspires me to write well. Toddlers inspire me to look at things from a child's persepctive. :P

Unfortunately Indonesia just suffered from a big earhquake just 6 hours ago (measuring 7.9 on the Richter scale), and a lot of us here in Malaysia felt the tremors. Devastating state in Indonesia, though :(

Thank goodness for that! I hate Twilight. I bloody Bella the Mary Sue and Edward the Gary Stu. The Scientist is one of the most awesomest songs ever, and I would never want to see its meaning get butchered by the Twilight story.
