  1. That's the one I'm watching but Coldplay isn't on yet...
  2. A Cookie Full Of Cake
  3. Have a good time!!! :) I'm already watching the stream, just sitting through some DJ's set at what looks to be the Liberty stage (I don't really listen to much EDM so I don't know the artist's name).
  4. Hi everyone. :) What are all your favorite moments from the Coldplay concerts you've attended or watched a video of??? I enjoyed a lot of moments from my first concert, but there are three that really stuck out for me. The first one was seeing the Xylobands light up the field during the songs, especially Charlie Brown. The second one was the moment during Fix You when the song really kicked into high gear. The best moment of them all though, and one that I will remember for a lifetime, was the moment that Chris Martin made eye contact with me. I didn't film that moment or take a photo because I was too busy dancing. But I was able to find the moment in the broadcast. I had made a big sign that said "Believe in love" and held it for most of the concert. I managed to scoot a little closer to the stage as the show went on and by A Sky Full Of Stars, I wasn't too close and I was off to the side but I was much closer than before. I had been singing along all night so my voice was shot, but myself and a few people next to me all screamed "CHRIS!!!!!!!!" as loud as we could toward the end of ASFOS. Look at what happened next from 3:39 to 3:42 in the video: HE WAS LOOKING RIGHT AT US WHEN HE DID THAT. :D
  5. Who else thinks Jay-Z or Rihanna might make an appearance during Coldplay's set tonight? After all, Jay-Z is a curator of the festival and Rihanna is another headlining act.
  6. So, this is my 2,000th post on Coldplaying!!! I would just like to say thank you to all the people here for making this forum as awesome as it is. :) You all are incredibly nice people and I have enjoyed having this place as an outlet for my Coldplay fandom. I was a big fan for a few years before I ever created an account, but it feels especially "worth it" when I've got a place to be a Coldplay nerd with fellow fans. :) I love how supportive this community is and out of all the message boards I have ever been a part of, this is the friendliest. Here's to 2,000 more posts, and beyond! :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V27fNXX_rc4
  7. Happy birthday!! :loveshower:
  8. It's a bit strange that the lip-synced songs are songs that Chris sings while playing piano, rather than running around and dancing. You'd think his voice would be in better shape when he's not doing his antics... Though Up&Up is the last song of the night, so I would understand giving him a break on that one.
  9. Are you all crazy? ;) I love A Whisper, Green Eyes, Strawberry Swing, Swallowed In The Sea, Birds, and Fun. :D
  10. I didn't get to watch the show until later on, but that was fun :) And yes I was right about them playing Life On Mars instead of Heroes!
  11. Yeah he started to play it but was like "Oh wait, I should probably let the Instagram video play first" :P
  12. They'd better play Us Against The World tonight after skipping it a few shows ago in Denver...
  13. Happy birthday! :loveshower:
  14. Right now... I think I would have to say Mylo Xyloto. I like a bunch of the songs but I don't like how some of them are produced, plus a couple of them are just weak tracks in my opinion. And I think the decision to cut Moving To Mars from the album is one of the biggest mistakes the band ever made. I used to think Ghost Stories was the worst, for the same reasons (except that time Ghost Story was the amazing song left off the album). But a lot of the songs have grown on me.
  15. Hmm, I wonder if they'll play Life On Mars instead of Heroes, or if they just played it for fun during the soundcheck. :) It might also be a c-stage song.
  16. As long as the sound isn't too bad over there, that sounds like a nice spot. :) Have fun at your "free" Coldplay concert, @coldplayisawesome . ;)
  17. Yeah, it all felt like a dream afterward. Though watching videos of the concert really brings back a lot of memories, a video can't quite capture the same feeling. For example, a video might make the Xylobands look dazzling during Charlie Brown, but there's nothing quite like actually standing in the crowd as they twinkle and glow. And you might think it's awesome when you hear the crowd singing the Viva chant in unision, but there's nothing quite like being one of those thousands of voices.
