  1. Cadbury makes chocolate. Chocolate is amazing and the meaning of life. The number 42 is also the meaning of life because it is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything. Coldplay have a song called 42 and 42 minutes is the general rule for how long they like their albums to be. Pocket
  2. Oh I completely forgot. :P I'm tired and not feeling too well, haha. Doctor
  3. You forgot about Car Kids. ;) Parmesan cheese is... well... a type of cheese. :P One could argue that some of the lyrics on Coldplay's recent albums are a bit cheesy. :worried: Like the chorus of Magic... but I still like the song so I'm not saying that's always a bad thing! :)
  4. On my way back to my university after spending the weekend at home with my family, I passed by both a 136th Street and a 42nd Street. :D Not to mention I heard Clocks on the radio.
  5. I've had a few Coldplay dreams before. I remember a really vivid one from around the time I first made my account, in which the band played a private concert for my family and friends. They played some songs I knew but they also played some unreleased songs like Car Kids that almost no one has actually heard. However, most of my Coldplay dreams are random dreams where the band members show up in random places.
  6. I really like Bastille and I got to see them when I was at Glastonbury! I got to hear some of the songs from the new album and they were great. :) In my opinion, the studio versions are just as good and this might be their best album yet.
  7. How uncanny! :D I've had Don't Let It Break Your Heart and Up With The Birds play consecutively on shuffle a few weeks ago, which was awesome because the two songs had the same flawless transition that I'm used to when listening through MX from start to finish.
  8. I realize it's now September 10th in most of North America (and you're from Canada, right? I do think I remember that), but happy late Coldplaying birthday!!! :D I've just realized something interesting... on September 26th when I reach my 2 year anniversary of having an account here, it will also be the 1 year anniversary of Coldplay's first appearance at the Global Citizen Festival. That was the day that the first new song from AHFOD (and one of my favorites on the album), Amazing Day, was revealed to the world. :)
  9. Best of luck to you on Monday :) I really hope you win tickets!!! :D
  10. Aww, that sounds so nice! I can't wait to see how it turns out. :)
  11. Thank you so much for posting this, @Coeurli :) Well, it looks like the full AHFOD tour might not be stopping in India, unless there are more tour dates to be announced, but it's awesome that Coldplay are helping spread the Global Citizen message to India.
  12. Thank you so much, @Athena Pedroza and @Gideon_Mx ! :) I really appreciate all the kind words from my fellow Coldplayers and I'm happy that I can share this adventure of a lifetime with you all. ;) It's amazing how therapeutic music and a community of fans can be. I am having a much better time now than I thought I would, and listening to AHFOD is helping me a lot as I adjust. Even songs I wouldn't really like otherwise, like Hymn For The Weekend, are speaking to me in new ways. When I combine that with the friendly community of fellow Coldplay fans, it keeps me optimistic and ready to take on whatever challenges this new chapter of my life throws at me.
  13. Hey I remember you! :) I took a long break too for far less serious reasons... but now I'm back and looking to stick around indefinitely. Seeing the band live for the first time really reignited my love for them after months of letting family problems and academics replace all the time I had previously spent listening to music and posting on forums. Please don't worry about talking about how you feel... Coldplaying is like a family, especially in this thread. I am so glad that just talking about your pain is helping you heal from what you've been going through. I am so glad to see you around here again and no matter how much time you want to spend here, just know that there are people here that you can count on to be there for you. :)
  14. While watching the Denver Broncos game a few hours ago, I met somebody who got to attend the Super Bowl in February so they got to watch Coldplay's halftime performance in person!
  15. Yeah, I miss her contributions. :( Those questions and answers were always fun to read and Team Oracle was always such a sweet thing to read every Friday.
  16. I bet you didn't know this... @Debs Wild is a real user here. :D And based on her post history, I do think she's the real Oracle. She just hasn't been around Coldplaying in a long time. Oh, and I already said this before, but I hope your next surgery goes well. :)
  17. This is really pretty, well done. :) And welcome to Coldplaying.
  18. Feel better soon, @Gideon_Mx :) That's what all of X&Y did for me a few years ago, to be honest... a few days ago, I went ahead and used the contact form on Coldplay's website to just pour my heart out about how much I appreciate that, and though they can't individually respond to fan mail, Debs Wild (better known to fans as The Oracle) did email me back and it was so nice. :)
  19. Actually, there might be a John, Johnny, or Jonny, but I just don't know it yet. ;) Though in the past I have had classes with a Johnny and a Phil. :D Edit: I know this isn't Coldplay, but... I have had classes with a Thomas (which could be shortened as Tom or Thom), Colin, and Ed as well. So when you add in the Johnny and Phil, that's basically Radiohead right there. ;)
  20. I haven't realized this until today... I have classes with a Chris, a Will, and a Guy. No Jonny or Phil, though. :P
  21. No problem, I'm glad you joined us here and I hope you have a fun time. :)
  22. Well, my mind has already been changed. Now it's A View From The Top. This is ridiculous, only a truly obsessed fan would get a Coldplay song stuck in their head that we don't even have a good-quality recording of. :P
  23. I see that was your first post, welcome to Coldplaying! :D
  24. In My Place That song has been stuck in my head all day...
  25. Very true! Tell that to some people who are my age, haha. :D
