When I first heard it, I thought he would play an electric guitar. But after listening to it a few more times, I heard a piano. So I'm going with the piano. What do you think? Sorry that "performance" is misspelled. I was typing quickly, and I forgot to double check. :disappointed:

I mean honestly... that's the first thing me and Jonathan thought of when we heard it. Certainly you all agree? Not really a fan of it, by the way.

Hi guys, I really like DLIBYH, but that melody in this song ( which sounds like a xylophone or something ) sounds familiar to me. Did they use any sample ( like in ETIAW ) or somethin like that from another artist, or is DLIBYH 100% Coldplays idea? I mean, did they use some existing melodies or something? Would really like to know that.

"A sister-track to Every Teardrop... in the way its driven by stop-start rhythm of the drums and the way Martin forms an indelible hook out of the wall of sound sonic avalanches around him, Don't Let It Break Your Heart is one of Mylo Xyloto's most straightforward songs, a precursor, ala A Rush Of Blood's A Whisper, before a final bombastic blow-out?" - Q Magazine What are you thoughts on this? It seems to be closely related to ETIAW with a heavy description.

I couldn't help it, but as soon as I heard the title "Don't Let It Break Your Heart" it made me think of the Backstreet Boys song "I'll Never Break Your Heart"! Seriously, just change the lyrics a little: "Don't let it break your heart Don't let it make you cry"... Maybe that's what Coldplay did!:laugh3:

I was checking the Coldplay profile at Last.Fm and I was surprised when I saw some comments about Don't Let It Break Your Heart. The song has already been "scrobbled" and "loved", and have five listeners. That means that some people is already listening to it. I just sent a message to one of those listeners, who is now online. If anyone has information, please share it here. :) I'm searching a link and I'll post everything I find here.
