Experiencing their concert live must be an amazing and over-the-top experience... :D My dream is coming true and I just can't wait :) My all time fav tracks by coldplay would be the scientist, fix you, politik and yellow. And oh, I also just love shiver. I can't stop listening to violet hill and viva la vida since it came out last year as well... I feel like I want to hit the 'big drum' (is that what u call it) like will champion does everytime i hear viva la vida. And I also love the lyrics to it which is deep. Just love the whole concept of their new album. Coldplay rocks!!! :)

Hi, all. I've sort of been going through a Coldplay phase recently... well, all right, the only thing I've listened to for the past week is from Viva La Vida or A Rush of Blood. They really are a very good band. What I don't understand is why so many "highbrow" critics seem to hate Coldplay. All right, they have a couple of points (I don't think I could listen to the first part of 42 for a whole song, ex.) but they usually criticize them for what makes them such a good band. Hey guys, I'm Dean, new to the site and to be honest, pretty new to Coldplay. I picked up their Viva la Vida Album last September and started listening to it. I had heard their older singles before but this was the first time I actually listened to an album. It was a life changer! Haha. I loved it. So I bought a ticket to their show in SLC and it was pretty much the best show ever. Since then its been Coldplay all the way! In December of last year` I was due to go with my daughter in law to see CP at O2, as she was expecting my first Grandchild and very near to the intended date she was advised not to go. I then was given my Visa for Australia and also could not go. So imagine my euphoria when I heard they were playing Perth. Hey everyone! I've been a fan for a few years but never suspected Coldplay was well-known enough to have many fans (That should've changed when I went to the concert ;;>_>) None of my friends like them, so it's nice to come here and have to opportunity for rabid fan conversations. They're the only 'band' I like- all other bands I have only one or two songs from. I mostly like movie scores, foreign music and classical music (I play in an orchestra, so I get lots of exposure).
