http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rockbox Download it! It's so cool. O.O It adds games and stuff, and you can use different themes. :) http://www.rockbox.org/ I've got this theme right now--it's sweet. It matches my new iPod cover. :) edit: oh, a downside is that it's hard to play videos and view photos on the iPod Video, but you can boot to the regular Apple theme if you want to do those things. :)

US "security men" attempted to smuggle C4 plastic explosive past checkpoint Paul Joseph Watson Sunday, June 10, 2007 It looks highly likely that a false flag terror attack to be blamed on protesters of the G8 summit in Germany was averted after German surveillance stopped a team of "US security men" attempting to smuggle C4 plastic explosives past a checkpoint at Heiligendamm. The alarming revelation was buried at the end of a Deutsche Press-Agentur news article about the ongoing battles between police and protesters at the global forum. - Sources told Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa that US security men test…

Kettle that will give you a cuppa in just three seconds Last updated at 22:58pm on 8th June 2007 Comments When you nip into the kitchen to make a cup of tea during a TV ad break, it can be touch and go whether you will be back on the sofa by the time your programme starts again. Now scientists have come up with a solution to the dilemma by designing a kettle which they say can produce a cup of hot water in only three seconds. Scroll down for more... 8. Bananas and pineapples grow in tropical Britain Last updated at 16:30pm on 8th June 2007 Comments (2) They look like they were grown in a tropical plantation, but amateur gardeners in Britain have managed to cultivate pineapples in Essex and bananas in Maidenhead. Olwyn Asher grew her pineapple on her window sill. She started with the discarded crown of a supermarket-bought fruit two years ago. Mrs Asher, 60, placed the cutting from the top of the pineapple into a dish of water by a window at her home in Harlow, and potted the plant when roots began to sprout. Scroll down for more Sweet success: A fruit grown on the pineapple plant which Olwyn Ash…

  9. Traditional subjects axed in favour of 'chocolate' and 'space travel' By LAURA CLARK - More by this author » Last updated at 00:05am on 9th June 2007 Comments Primary schools are abandoning traditional subjects in favour of "themed" teaching on topics as varied as chocolate and space travel. Four in five are scrapping academic disciplines such as English, geography and history in favour of lessons which aim to cover several subjects at once, a survey found. A teacher choosing a "chocolate" theme might touch on literacy using Charlie And The Chocolate Factory and science by melting chocolate to prove the process of changing from a solid to a liquid can …

Ruth Kelly wants a Britain Day - but there's no place for our heritage or flag by JANE MERRICK - More by this author » Last updated at 10:11am on 6th June 2007 Comments (37) Ruth Kelly says the day would not be about 'saluting the flag' We should have a Britain Day to celebrate 'civic values' and 'intergenerational links', Ruth Kelly will say today. But the Communities Secretary insists the idea is not about Britons "standing in their front gardens and saluting the Union Jack". The New Labour version of the planned public holiday would promote community relations and volunteering, rather than our national heritage. Her comments led critics to dis…

Mr Spock's green blood is down to copper A team of Canadian surgeons got a shock when the patient they were operating on began shedding dark greenish-black blood, the Lancet reports. The 42-year-old man emulated Star Trek's Mr Spock - a Vulcan who had green blood. Instead, the unusual colour of his blood was down to the migraine medication he was taking. The man's leg surgery went ahead successfully and his blood returned to normal once he eased off the drug. Dark green The patient had been taking large doses of sumatriptan - 200 milligrams a day. This had caused a rare condition called sulfhaemoglobinaemia, where sulphur is incorporated into the…

  21. The Devil is in the details folks.... An alleged plot to blow up fuel tanks, terminal buildings and fuel lines running beneath Kennedy International Airport has all the hallmarks of being another staged terror alert, having never advanced beyond a rudimentary planning stage while being prodded and provocateured by a paid government informant. In every single major terror sting we have researched in the west since 9/11, not one single plot has been absent the ingredient of a government provocateur, save the cases that were outright manufactured by imaginative government propagandists in alliance with the corporate media. In this case, the provocateur was "An infor…

  22. This..... “At the end of the day, I believe fully the president is doing the right thing, and I think all we need is some attacks on American soil like we had on [sept. 11, 2001] and the naysayers will come around very quickly to appreciate not only the commitment for President Bush, but the sacrifice that has been made by men and women to protect this country,” - Dennis Milligan, GOP Chief, Arkansas. http://www.nwanews.com/adg/News/191942 Ermmm WHAT!?!...And that's quote is not out of context in any way either. Can you spot the difference? A man sold his parrot after growing fed up with her foul mouth, only for her to return a few days later - in a bag of cheese and onion crisps. Thomas Sleigh and his wife Michaela, of Stockport, Greater Manchester, decided to get rid of Molly when her swearing got too much for the family. But within days of the naughty African Grey being sold her image turned up as Mr Sleigh tucked into a bag of crisps. "It's almost like Molly has come back to haunt us," he said. He added: "We got rid of her because she was constantly trying to wind my wife up by throwing her food out of the cage as well as turning the air blue with her constan…

Is this the world's most polluted river? by RICHARD SHEARS - More by this author » Last updated at 23:49pm on 5th June 2007 Comments (6) It was once a gently flowing river, where fishermen cast their nets, sea birds came to feed and natural beauty left visitors spellbound. Villagers collected water for their simple homes and rice paddies thrived on its irrigation channels. Today, the Citarum is a river in crisis, choked by the domestic waste of nine million people and thick with the cast-off from hundreds of factories. So dense is the carpet of refuse that the tiny wooden fishing craft which float through it are the only clue to the presence of water…
