I've heard some rumors about Coldplay making an appearance at ABC's upcoming Community Concert at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl on March 1st. So of course, you guys get the goss first. Does anyone have any info about Coldplay's tour between 15 Feb and 27 Feb 2009 (between Japan and Australia dates). I presume they will be playing in SE Asia en route to Oz but anyone know where and when? Hoping Hong Kong is on the ticket...;)

Sydney band Decoder Ring has been chosen as Coldplay support act for the Australian leg of the Viva La Vida tour. Decoder Ring spends their time equal between recording albums and soundtracks. Their 2004 album ‘Somersault’ doubled as a soundtrack for the film of the same name. The band has been recognised more by the film industry than the music industry with awarded from the AFI’s and the Jackson Hole Film Festival. 150,000 tickets have been sold so far for Coldplay’s 11 Australian shows.
