Are you one of those who loves the comforts of the a/c, t.v., and all other electrical appliances at your fingertips so much that anything else is unacceptable?

Are you the type who can rough it in the outdoors..say campfires, sleeping by moonlight, tents, and using the woods as your toilet? :/

:) I like the 2nd one...I definiely like the outdoors...I don't like watching TV (except soccer games), so i wouldn't be missing that...and A/C...I like it but like the fresh air instead...and as for sleeping outside, camping is so cool :)

I prefer comforts. I'm a spoiled urban mouse who can't live without my KoMPeWter and plumbing.

Total luxury for me - camping sucks. But then, I've only camped twice in my life, both times just in a tent on a mountain with no 'facilities' or campsite or shop, and it pissed down with rain for the whole weekend - BOTH TIMES! So I DON'T like camping! I think I should have done it when I was little, though - I used to plead with my parents to let me sleep in my tent in the garden with the dogs, but they never let me :huh: I'm obviously a frustrated, fine-weather, good-time camper at heart :D

Haha.. I don't know if camping out while you were young would've helped, I know I did lots and I still just can't get into it!! I mean it's not awful, but I just don't prefer it. :/

 

But I can "rough it" if need be, as in my central a/c unit outside got struck by lightening Friday and it's been mid to high 90's here. I've found out that I CAN live without a/c!! :D (Until the a/c man comes this evening that is!!)

Back when I was 6 or 7, my grandparents took us all in their RV to the Gulf of Mexico. Someone was occupying the bathroom in the RV and I DID NOT want to walk to the public facility, (where were my parents?!) so not being able to hold it any longer I just let it go. :embarrased: :lol: :lol:

i enjoy "the comforts", but i love camping, and sleeping outside with just a blanket is no problem for me. i love it. and there's nothing like swimming in the cold lake at 7:30 in the morning when its all glassy and quiet :cool:

Yeah, there are some really beautiful, clear lakes.. but I just can't bear the thought of me swimming alongside snakes and other things. :/

yeah sometimes there's rattlesnakes swim in our lake, but i never seen one swimming near me. i only see them in the water when i'm not in it. they're gorgeous :D i always wanna pick them up, but they're big enough to do severe damage to me if i try :(

not to mention they're poisonous :lol:
