Starla Stargazer :D
Out of the two, what type are you? Are you one of those who loves the comforts of the a/c, t.v., and all other electrical appliances at your fingertips so much that anything else is unacceptable? OR Are you the type who can rough it in the outdoors..say campfires, sleeping by moonlight, tents, and using the woods as your toilet? :/ I'm interested to know! :D
mycdplayerisbroke
i prefer comforts but i can sleep outside on the ground
Starla Stargazer :D
haha... me too! I'd prefer comforts of the indoors anyday over the outdoors, but my husband's allll into camping out, tents, swimming in lakes :stunned: etc.etc.. So I have no choice!! You've really slept on the ground, like no blankets and stuff??
Ambergris
Of course the first one... but going outside and enjoy fresh air is really good sometimes
Professor Peedston
I enjoy both. :D I actually did sleep on the ground once with no blanket or anything. It was easily the most uncomfortable night of my life.
mycdplayerisbroke
well it was in scouts and i dont like sleeping in tents so i picked the ground ha
Starla Stargazer :D
Haha..yes I love getting fresh air, going for walks and bike rides, but it gives me the creeps sleeping outdoors and being out in the dark.. unless of course I'm on my porch swing looking at the stars. :D
soleil
I'd say the comfort option. I've never tried hiking or camping. Who knows, maybe I might like that. :idea2:
Starla Stargazer :D
Haha.. maybe so! I can't get into it, no matter how hard I try.
Professor Peedston
I actually spent 10 days canoeing in a wilderness preserve in Ontario awhile ago. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life. :) But boy was I glad to get back to civilization again, where there's music, and sugary soft drinks, and real bathrooms.
CityandColour
Errr..... I dunno.. :stunned: :/
Starla Stargazer :D
Ooh that does sound like it was exciting! Yeah, we go to 1000 acres of backwoods and it's beautiful! Besides worrying about what night creatures lurk, tt was also major Indian territory back in the day, and that makes it a bit more frightening. I and three other people heard the beating of drums one night while roasting marshmallows :stunned: No one said a word til we got back to the cabin for fear we'd sound looney, but seriously it was crazy!!
ladylike
The first one. I wouldn't mind sleeping outside in summer on a trampoline though.
Starla Stargazer :D
Haha.. my husband used to sleep out on his trampoline! Ya see, before he was my husband he was just a guy next door, and I'd watch him out my window drag his sleeping bag out there and stay for the night!! It may not be so bad, at least you're off of the ground!
ladylike
^ That's sweet, er, as long as you were not like stalking him and were looking at him in admiration. I've never done it but I love looking at the stars so...
Professor Peedston
I slept outside on a trampoline with my girlfriend of the time once. It was sweet. :)
Starla Stargazer :D
Oh honey it was like that for sure!! I'd try to spy on him every chance I got!! It's really crazy, when we first moved in next door, I saw him and had this split second thought that I was going to marry him. :stunned: I was shy though, so when we finally met it was nothing I'd ever felt before. Love at first sight I guess you could say. :)

I wish something like that would happen to me. *reminds self of young age* haha.. it gets even better! After we met and showed interest in one another, his strictly religious parents forbid us to hang out, just in case anything should "happen". For the next 6 months we had to communicate with letters through our adjoining fence, and we had to flash lights to let each other know when a letter was placed!! Oh the memories. Yes, you're still young, so don't give up! It could happen, I'm living proof! :)

*Justine*
I enjoy both. I just got back from camping for a few days. I love being outside as long as the weather is good. When I am camping, the last thing on my mind is being on the internet, or a/c ...etc, I like where I am at the time, not too much technology needed.
