What a day on VH1, Denmark:

First I heard "Week-end hits" from 10.50 to 12. In this period no Coldplay. Then there was "greatest songs from 2000 to now". And I thought: "Will they play VIVA LA VIDA or CLOCKS. And what about U2? Maybe "Beautiful Day"? A lot of very good songs very played, BUT - NOT U2 or COLDPLAY :veryangry2:

Then from 19 to 21 VH1, Denmark broadcast MTV EMA 2009 - and it started well:

U2 winning their award for Best Live Act and all four members saying a few words, Beyoncé's performance, Jay-Z and Ciara singing "Empire State of Mind", then commercials. Then a "technical problems" sign followed by commercials, then the "technical problems" sign until 21 (I checked from time to time, but was also eating and doing other things while listening to I-Tunes Top 40) and there was some text when the performers said something while the "technical problems" sign was still on (it was only the MTV EMA picture that was missing). Very odd.

So today I felt like VH1, Denmark sucks.

Luckily one of the Danish radio stations played VIVA LA VIDA. :D  :)

And I heard Robbie Williams and "Angels" :) and not so long ago they played U2 and "ONE". :):D So all three all-time favourite songs on one day on various radio stations. That saved the day - but today VH1, Denmark really sucked! :veryangry2

All of Vh1 pretty much sucks imo :)

Maybe you need to form a group together, have a coup, and fix the problems!;)

Coup leader Nancyk58 today was reported as saying, "from now on, VH1 will be one the air - whatever the problems, there will be no more technical problems!";););)

New Moon was awesome!!!!

My frustration had to do with me looking forward to seeing (once more) U2 at the Brandenburg Gate playing "ONE" and "Magnificent" - and at the end of the broadcast U2 playing "Sunday, bloody Sunday" and joined by Jay-Z (the mayor of New York) on the stage.

DO YOU KNOW WHY BONO SAID THAT "THE MAYOR OF NEW YORK IS HERE" and then pointed at JAY-Z ? I really would like to know.

And then those technical problems / difficulties implying that there was no picture or sound - only the sign: "Technical problems - we are sorry". I noticed at the end that there was some text / it was a Danish translation of some words Bono said between the songs and at the end.

I do not think that this list is perfect without Coldplay, U2 or Gwen Stefani. The list is not quite representative as Gwen Stefani's "Sweet Escape" was a huge hit in Denmark in 2007 - no. 2 after Justin Timberlake (feat. Scarlett Johannson) on the year-end chart from 2007 on I-Tunes').

And I am also thinking that maybe I should go to bed really soon as it is over 3 o'clock in the morning in Denmark. But I got on coldplaying.com really late tonight and like it here. :D

Wow! Thanks for the list!! True, that seems odd to not include Coldplay, U2, Gwen Stefani, and the like. Must have been an error of some sort in the list server.

Yes, that's getting to be morning - better catch 40 winks at least..;);););)X10. Rest well.:)

......i miss you so so much
