Because majority of schools here are catholic and only have either just boys or just girls. :P There are only two mixed high schools in the area.

One is a fee paying school, my dad went to,

and the other one was a community school which had a small bit of bad reputation back when my parents were deciding.

My brother is going to there now. :nice:
