I wanna hear this long story :P

I have just seen "Shakespeare in Love" with Gwyneth Paltrow for the second time in ½ year's time - and it is still good and worth seeing. There are films where you say - now I have seen that film/movie and that is more than enough. But "Shakespeare in Love" was worth seeing again.

:bigcry: :( :(

What is it about?

"Shakespeare in love" is about the famous English playwriter William Shakespeare who in 1593 meets and falls in love with the wonderful Viola de Lesseps who loves poetry and theatre and really likes Shakespeare's plays. He has problems in finding inspiration to write his plays, but that changes after meeting Viola and having an affair with her. She is about to be married to a nobleman (arranged marriage) to "perform her duty to her father and to Queen Elizabeth I" who has consented to this marriage. We also see Viola on stage as an actor named Thomas Kent (female actors / actresses were not allowed on stage at that time).

I want to go to sleep and sleep for as long as I can, for days, then wake up and everything would be just fine. I wish. :sad:

Sleep Chant!:rolleyes::P

I was thinking about how US cities were once designed for human and pedestrian friendliness, and lost that as the automobile took over, got wider, and went everywhere. Maybe now that the belts and belts of orbiting highways have ringed around the city centers, we can really begin in earnest to make the cities human-friendly? (not just a few experiments here and there, but really re-do them all..).. A future of electric or clean quiet buses, rail, re-route traffic to parking points not in the center & short hop commuter shuttle transporters in, re-install the center green islands in the boulevards, turn some of the streets into pedestrian and cycle-only paths.. Some has been done, but we're so slow to change here - need to take a lesson from Paris, or Fez, or Caracas, or elsewhere that progressive changes have already been done.. :thinking: Hmm.. how to deal with stubborn people on planning boards..?

:D OOOooooOOOooooOOooo OOOooooOOoooOOOoooo.... <3

^ That sounds like an awesome plan to me!!

Thanks! It's a subject that has been much discussed in progressive places, and a lot has been done; we're behind the times though in the U.S... What has Canada done that would be good examples?

^ haha to tell you the truth, Canada really isn't much better. Actually, at the moment we are absolutely terrible when it comes to the environment. I'm really not proud to be a Canadian when it comes to the environment :shame:

but i still feel cool for being canadian :P
