Well tomorrow at our school, we have what's called parent-teacher conferences, which is when our parents can discuss our grades and stuff with teachers. Then the students get out two hours early so that all the parents get a chance to talk, which is where the "half-day" phrase comes in, even though we're in school for more than half the day. Basically we get out of school earlier :awesome:
