They are. Christopher Nolan has already talked about it. It will be a third and final one. He said unlike the other series', he plans on giving this one a legit ending the way he sees fit. Should be epic.

 

Oh and he's re-vamping the Superman series after Batman's done, and he plans on bringing a darker, unseen touch to the story.

It won't be soon. Probably like 2011 or 2012. Better be before the world ends in 2012.
