September 7, 200421 yr ooooh good question i think time exists, there is a beginning, and maybe an end (with the idea of a universe getting bigger and then getting smallar, but i dont believe in such thing as out of time... do you believe that god exists?
September 7, 200421 yr is there are beginnin or end or is it just continuous? we get older which may indicate time exists ...with out watches the sun will continue setting and rising...but maybe time doesnt exist as we know it. no i dont believe that god exists..i believe god didnt create us but we created god to explain the unexplainable same q
September 7, 200421 yr i dont believe that god exists personally, being a scientist and very much take a similiar view to you Inti ;) err, who is your favorite Existentialist?
September 7, 200421 yr the guy who created 'theatre of the absurd' -->forgot his name but basically they believe life is useless etc...plays which follow the theatre of the absurd conventions usually consist of a lot of repitition which becomes meaninlyless after a while and the audience being bored during one of these plays is often a good sign....an example of a play of this type of theatre is one called 'waiting for godot' its the most famous of absurdists plays. :) does luck exist? or do we make our own?
September 7, 200421 yr what is wrong with my typing..lol any mistakes are probably typos due to my terrible typing :)
September 7, 200421 yr ps. the theatre of absurd originates from Albert Camus (who happens to be my favorite existentialist as well -> you rock) I dont believe that everything is by chance and that we do control our own fate to a degree but there is an element of luck which happens as a result of the uncontrollable... What is your opinion on David Hume's philosophy of the Miraculous ? :) ps. dont worry about your typing ;)
