Hee my brother saw Will in a London restaurant in December of 2003. He was with a woman (who knows who she was... maybe his future wife lol). My brother was sitting in the next booth so he asked the woman if that was really Will Champion and she said yes so yeah... My brother said Will was kinda shy and looking down 'cause he knew that my brother had recognized him. My brother didn't go crazy and ask him for an autograph... 'cause that would be weird for a guy. I mean, ya know, guys don't know "OMG are you Will Champion?! Like, OMG!" :rolleyes:

lol. It'd be hard not to ask for an autograph or SOMETHING tangible from the sighting, but I admire your brother for not wanting to bother him and treat him as a human :D

Yeah, I mean, after all, the guy's just out to eat, ya know? If I had saw him... hmmm... ya know, I'd actually think I'd be way too shy to ask for an autograph. Seriously, I don't think I could ever bring myself to talk to a celeb. Like, ever. Maybe when I'm older... oh the pitfalls of being a 13-year-old. :lol:

welll *sigh* MAYBE if I was really desperate, I'd whip out my camera phone, be very stealthy, and sneak a few shots. But..not in the creepy way. of course.

I'd HAVE to say something to him though. But I'd try to be as polite as possible. I had a dream one time that I saw Will on a plane and I whispered to him so as not to attract any unwanted attention to him. If I saw him in a restraunt I think I'd just walk past his table like I was going to the bathroom or something, so as not to call any attention to myself and then backtrack and politely (and quietly) ask him for an autograph and leave so I wouldn't disrupt his night. There's no way I'd ask for a picture though if he was eating (especially with his wife). I wouldn't want to a) call any attention to him and have him mobbed b) completly disrupt his dinner. That wouldn't be good.

well of course as long as it wouldn't be interrupting anything, then it'd probably be all right. and while I'm outgoing when it comes to these sort of things, I'd still probably contain myself. But since they get confronted by fans all the time, I probably wouldn't be any different and they wouldn't remember me (probably)anyway. So what's the bother? I told you if you see a guy on the train that looks like Will, TALK TO HIM! It was probably him last time too you butt head. I am so jealous of you and so upset that I couldnt have gone with you this time. You probably ruined the whole train thing now. He will probably go by private jet because you recognized him and he will think that he cant go by train anymore because he is getting too famous. its ok, I am starting to get bitter myself. my friend angie that just met will :angry: is the one I am going to houston to see a coldplay show, that is if we can get tickets. She is out of the country and I dunno what to do. I am freaking out, I am upset and I just wanna cry.

Aww, I'm sorry. What's gotten you so upset today? Is it the fact that she met Will or the prospect of not getting tickets?

 

Don't they sell tickets in waves? Last concert I went to, I went to ticketmaster and they were completely sold out and I thought my only choice was ebay. I checked again about a week later and there were more tickets sold. Just keep your eyes open and check every day first thing in the morning.

 

As for her meeting Will...bah...I'm mad because I haven't met him yet and he is my stinking hero, dammit! I WANT TO MEET HIM!
