I'm really interested to see what Will does on Album 4. I wonder how much input he had on the drum loops/hip-hop sounds that have been mooted for Album 4 and how the production of that worked - if there's going to be some loops tucked under Will's playing or some other percussion sounds.... I really love the sounds on Twisted Logic, sort of like gun shots on the beats every now and again, and the industrial/urban sound of the drums.

 

From Rolling Stone it looks like:

Chinese Sleep Chant has a dance-track loop.

Cemeteries of London has an electro loop.

42 has some beat loops.

Wasn't one of the new tracks supposed to have a hip-hop beat, but they scrapped that idea?

 

It'd be interesting to see how the drums and beats for this album were produced and put together as it sounds a million miles from the standard but excellent drumkit of Albums 1-3.

I understand nothing about drums or any instrument. All I can say is that Will is very talented and, probably, there will be lots of different percussion things on this album. I remember reading something that this Porspekt person said about Will, as a drummer, leading the songs, rather than just following them.

So, let's wait a little bit more and see it by ourselves. I think we'll not be disapointed.
