May 15, 200719 yr ^yummy!!!!!!!!! :wink3: thanks for that.... Jelle Wagenaar has taken a lot of their photos in the past as well.... he's really good at band photog as well as other media outlets... you can view his other works via his site @ http://www.jellewagenaar.com :cool3: here's a press release from Ireland.. (as posted on the IMB) Here is what EMI are sending out to Media: Interpol Our Love To Admire (Capitol Records - July 6th, 2007) Fresh from their blistering headlining performance at Coachella, Interpol gear up to release their third studio album, Our Love To Admire, out July 6th on Capitol Records. Produced by Interpol and Rich Costey and recorded in New York City at Electric Lady and The Magic Shop Studios, this album, their first for Capitol Records, is the band's most engrossing and accomplished work to date. From the opening notes of “Pioneer to The Falls,” to the sprawling echoed chords of “The Lighthouse,” Interpol have taken a far grander approach with Our Love To Admire, encompassing arrangements of more paramount proportions than captured by the usual 4 person band. Following a brief break after their world tour supporting the release of their last hit album Antics, the band re-grouped in New York City to lay down the foundation for Our Love To Admire. A departure from songwriting tactics used on both of their prior releases, the band brought no material from the road, instead choosing to start work on their third album revitalized and with a clean slate. Thus, armed with completely open minds and lacking any conceptions as to what this release would bring, Our Love To Admire, is the natural evolution from their prior albums; 2002’s Turn on the Bright Lights and 2004’s Antics. The approach taken to this record also allowed Interpol the clarity to pull out more sophisticated sounds. Where keyboards existed as more of an after-thought on their predecessors, Our Love To Admire, brought them to the forefront of the arranging process, paving the way for more epic songs. Exemplified by the depth and rich texture of such songs as “No I in Threesome” and “Rest My Chemistry,” Interpol opted for natural orchestration over synthetic °© often sampling an actual string section, and even working with a live brass octet for certain choice moments. Our Love To Admire is an artfully driven auditory experience - built up of synergetic instrumental arrangements and poignant lyrics that flow beautifully from one song to the next. From finding out what it takes to make the heart swing in the album’s contagious first single “The Heinrich Maneuver,” to contemplations of the soul in “Pioneer to The Falls,” and “All Fired Up,” Our Love To Admire, is proof that Interpol have grown exponentially as composers, musicians and lyricists in the three years since their last album. 1. Pioneer to The Falls 2. No I in Threesome 3. The Scale 4. The Heinrich Maneuver 5. Mammoth 6. Pace is the Trick 7. All Fired Up 8. Rest My Chemistry 9. Who Do You Think 10. Wrecking Ball 11. The Lighthouse

May 17, 200719 yr yeah.. it sucks though... lol the album version is much better. :) I'm actually not sure which version I have....how long is the album version?
May 18, 200719 yr 3:29 I think...... so I think its the same version. :( (d'oh) but knowing the Pol... the album version might have a lengthier guitar solo bit...
May 18, 200719 yr Hmm, I'm actually thinking that the version in question will be the same as what's on the album.
May 18, 200719 yr they wouldn't specifically label as 'radio edit' if there wasn't a different version...... would they? :stunned:
May 18, 200719 yr they wouldn't specifically label as 'radio edit' if there wasn't a different version...... would they? :stunned: Oh, yeah....of course....you are probably right.
May 19, 200719 yr they wouldn't specifically label as 'radio edit' if there wasn't a different version...... would they? :stunned: Some times the "Radio Edit" is only a few seconds shorter than the album version, or maybe it replaces a swear word for a clean word.
May 20, 200719 yr Here is the video of the KROQ Weenie Roast performance. Daniels guitar blew during the last song, but it still was a great performance. http://www.sendspace.com/file/kg9p27
May 20, 200719 yr My friend at camp this weekend had a bomb Interpol shirt, but she had no idea who they were or anything! I was so surprised to see it, and a little disappointed she'd never heard this awesome band.
May 21, 200719 yr I think they decided to make PDA their last song at the Weenie Roast... Carlos whispered something in Paul's ear right before they started PDA.... and it looked like Daniel was having problems with his Epiphone for a while... he knelt down during his lyrics part.. but it was too late... alas.. the guitar blew. You can hear him tyrin to save it.. but it didn't work.... so sad. :( lol but, I loved seeing them live even if was on a webcast... I felt like i was seeing them LIVE for the first time in 2 years!!! It was mega... edit: oh and I also have the mp3 of the gig in case anyone is interested..... I'll upload if you guys like...
