official WORST april's fool joke EVER

Only 3 and a bit days until the gig at Brixton Academy (sat). I am getting pretty excited now but I always have the feeling that they are going to have an 'off' day and not sound that good. Coz I have heard the guys sound terrible live, sometimes.

Just hope they carry on the recent tradition of playing 'Take you on a cruise'. :)

the funny thing is, Paul has said in numerous interviews.. that he never had heard Joy Division until people made that comprison.. I dont think they are influenced by other 'bands' persay.. but they seem to be a band that is influenced by 'surroundings'.. imagery and such.. which is pretty impressive.. because when I listen to them.. its all about ambiance... they make me feel... its weird... lol

 

it's hard to believe that paul never heard of them before :confused: ...i love interpol like many do... i 've seen them 3 times, waited for autographs and pics, purchased their b-sides and magazine covers, but i can't ignore the joy division similarities...
