Ambergris
Hey people soem uselful information here in case you didn't know. A type can receive from A and O donants. B type can receive from B and O donants. AB type can receive from A, B, AB and O donants. O type can receive only from O donants. Obviously the donants got to have the same Rh (??) as the receptor. _Broken_Doll_
oh man I learnt all about that in biologie this year....and I believe O- can go in every blood type and there's another one that can too....fink it was AB-

Ambergris
I'm not sure, I think if your negative you cannot get any possitive though.
_Broken_Doll_
thats why I said 0- can GO INTO everyfing because the negative wont interfere wiff the blood since its a negative...they cant receive from somefing positive

Ambergris
Can it get into a possitive? I wouldn't be too sure but I'd look for some information later... What I know is that if your Rh is (-) you better not marry a (+) cause if you do and you have kids, if they're (+) they can die inside of you... TimeIsOnYourSide
hmmm....arent there drugs that counter that though
_Broken_Doll_
Can it get into a possitive? I wouldn't be too sure but I'd look for some information later... yo man, I had biologie and this was one of the easiest fings too. If I can remember since I did this before January, a negative can go into a positive because it doesn't interfere at all wiff it. I dunno how to explain it in English because I learnt it in French so I'll try. A positive can never and shouldnever go into a negative because that was cause major "interference". So that's why O- can go into A+, A-, B+, B-, AB+, AB- and O+.
Ambergris
hmmm....arent there drugs that counter that though Mmm, maybe but I wouldn't take any risk. Bah, as I said I do not know many about it, I'll investigate...
TimeIsOnYourSide
actually...the baby can be check for the Rh... the problem is when a baby has a different Rh than the mother. The mother could make antibodies to counteract the babies oposite rh. If this happens...well they can either do a blood transfution with the baby after its born....or still in the womb. Anemia and jaundice can occur if the blood types are different.
Ambergris
That's exactly what I meant, I mean if Gwendolyne gets a (+) baby though. But you said, there are some drugs for it so... Do you study medicine or something related?
