Could be this year, though I have a gutty feeling we might be seeing it in about a year or so.

^huh? fran said the album will probably be done until march ;)

Roll on 8th February

ANOTHER album :o ??

Whoa! It's all happening so fast! First Rick broke the record and became the top poster and now Travis with a new album..

Nope, 8th Feb, is when I see Travis down in Pompey, playing tracks hopefully from the new album

What kinda tours they doing?

Me and my Mum are desperate for them to go to Northern England.

Oh and do Travis sell out arenas? or even do em?

This coming tour is a small club tour, playing to clubs of about 400 people to test out new songs.

Mwah but still you're talking about a new album, right?

They should come to Finland too :(

:)

Just talking about the new album is quite exciting, lol. TBWNN just came out.

You have got to remember in the olden days, some bands released an album every year or so. Writing and recording during touring.

wow great song from Fran...

would this song being release in the next album?

I would have a guess if the song goes down well with the crowd in the club shows, then it might get put on the album.

Ode to J. Smith (working title) will be Travis' best album to date if the songs last night were anything to go by.

They played the entire new album in full for the first 45 minutes, had a 10 minute break, then came back on to do a 80-ish minute set, mixing some of their hits, with some album tracks plus the 2nd encore was requests from the audience. Plus the support band was fucking excellent.

But in the meantime when I sort though 100 or so pictures, removing the dodgy ones and editing them down to a reasonable size (each is currently ~ 2MB), here's a very dodgy recording of Friends:

I put it as quicktime format, just to get the size down

thanks dave...!

Hey peoplee!

What's up!!?

I was looking for an instrumental version of "My eyes"

I can't find any on the web.. and I'm learning how to play it in the guitar

so it would help an instrumental version.

Thanks in advancee!

The wonderful Fran, the only member I didn't meet :(

The other 4 came outside and said hello to the people waiting before going off to get some food.

I'm going to put the rest of the pictures in a zip file, so you can download and view them if you want.

Fran

thanks for sharing!

It would have been more, but the battery ran out.

It was a nice run back home last night, an hour to cover the 60 odd miles, would have been less but I got caught in the roadworks on the M27, which is 50 mph, monitored by average speed cameras :(

those pics look very promising, so i'm downloading the rest now  thanks, dave!

oh and i'm jeeaaloouuss!! :bigcry: ;D
