I don't care for "heavy metal" too much.

 

I don't like (or have I heard) enough to actually warrant an opinion.

I like 3Doors down, well, the few songs I've heard of them. I don't know if they are considered heavy metal or alternative.

Most kids go through a metal phase somewhere between ages 13-16. Mine lasted about four months when I was 14. It's a phase you outgrow, though. If you don't outgrow it (say, if you're James Hetfield still trying to make metal in your 40's) then... somebody should tell you that alcoholism and drug addiction stunt your emotional growth. That's the only explanation I can think of, anyway.

Metal phase? I talk to other metal fans all the time and none of us are into drug addiction or alcoholism. We're all professionals or students.

 

BTW: I love metal (esp. death and black). Been a fan since I was 11. The vast majority of stuff I listen to is metal other than Coldplay, DG, and some Indian and R&B music.

Dream Theater!! Progresive rock or metal or idon't know!! but is kind of that

mmmh....you have to respect Metal...the bands have some of the best guitarists...but most of that stuff is too aggressive to me :/

I know its not heavy,but immortal and Dimmu borgir are great,but my favourite are Metallica and Megadteh which are heavy trash
