May 11, 200521 yr Author Uchenna and Joyce won!!!! They played really well the entire show, started with no money a couple of times, almost thought they were going to be eliminated here and there. Joyce had to shave her head. Even at the end, they were playing fair, getting that cabdriver all his money. As for Amber and Rob, I was hoping they would win. If U&J hadn't made that early flight, I think they would of won it. But they had it easy the whole way through, almost coming out on top. And they won a lot of money and prices anyway.
May 11, 200521 yr Yeah, i'm glad taht Uchenna and Joyce won. I felt so bad when no one would give them money.
May 11, 200521 yr Remember that one guy who wouldn't give them any money? he was like "no you should work for it" hahha i bet he feels like a bastard now
May 11, 200521 yr Author Ya, people were really reluctant to give them money. Joyce should have done it, people are more agreeable to give money to female beggers. :P
May 14, 200521 yr I was rooting for Rob and Amber, but was glad when Uchenna and Joyce won (since she shaved her head and all and they were genuinely nice people.. they even tried helping the old couple towards the end of the show). It's was all about luck! I knew it wasn't over 'till it was over b/c I remembered when they took Ron and Kelly's money away, they came in first the next round. The same happened for U and J. I love this show!
May 14, 200521 yr Yeah' date=' i'm glad taht Uchenna and Joyce won. I felt so bad when no one would give them money.[/quote'] ditto
May 14, 200521 yr Is there going to be another season in the works? Further addendum, 8 February 2005: CBS-TV and the producers of "The Amazing Race" have announced that "The Amazing Race 8" will be for teams of 4 people (with a prior relationship to each other), instead of 2. They seem particularly interested in getting family teams, but I suspect that more of the applications will be form groups of friends. The application has been revised to call for teams of 4, but (1) the application and eligibility forms say explicitly that applications may be held over from one season to another, and teams of 2 that applied earlier may still be considered (and, presumably, invited to find 2 more teammates), (2) "The Amazing Race 9" is likely to revert to teams of 2, and (3) the producers can do anything they think will attract more viewers -- there are government rules for the fair conduct of "game shows" that apply to competitive reality-TV programs, but these rules don't apply to the selection of cast members/contestants. So if you are interested, I would still go ahead and apply, using whatever form is available, as early as possible, regardless of whether you have a team of 2 or 4.]
May 14, 200521 yr you've got to be kidding ahaha... but they were in my area collecting applications :P
May 14, 200521 yr Author Well, the reply you posted used 'you' I thought it was a reponse to something.
May 14, 200521 yr ^Yes, same here.. I'm glad they won..and it was a miracle that they won.. all thanks to the pilot 'cause otherwise they would have lost... :stunned:
May 15, 200521 yr I was totally bummed. Rob & Amber should have won! Uchena & Joyce shouldn't have been allowed on the plane. Since when are Airlines allowed to do that crap! isn't it against "regulation". This whole thing was set up.....what a crock.
May 25, 200521 yr It was super cheesy. I love Rob though. hahaha..I love when he cried when she gave him his first surprise. hahaha....sweet.
May 26, 200521 yr i wanna have someone cry on my shoulder. i think he was jealous that she got to get to see the team, but he didn't :P
