im 28, man that sounds old

do you reccomend MIDI keyboards? I have a general midi keybaord but it sucks so bad. It uses the standard midi instruments and it sounds like crap. any reccomendations? I want one with good synths too.

at the moment were using a yamaha sy 85 for the strings but we need to update but havent really looked round for anything yet, so im not to sure

Actually, I think the almost the whole CD of AROBTTH is slightly below concert pitch, so if you try to play along on the piano it sounds terrible. Really annoying.

 

It's kinda strange they did it like that ... especially with moving between studios and all, they would have had to tune all the pianos down and reprogram the synths and stuff. Or maybe they finished it and tuned the whole thing down a teeny weeny bit for some myseterious reason. :o

maybe they recorded it on ADAT and the tapes got stretched lol :lol:

most likely, It's really annoying though I upped the pitch by a few semitones with the wonders of sound forge :)

probably best to just play to the live versions, what did it sound like after you upped the pitch?
