Hmmm may seem a little confusing, but:

 

Dream Band: Pick like 4-6 or so of your legendary musicians into one group, people who you just think rocked and are your favourite guitarist/bassist/drummer/vocalist etc.

 

Gel Band: 4-6 or so people who you'd love to see together because you feel they'd make a great partnership in music and would be capable of writing great songs together. Y'see, I could never see Paul McCartney writing great songs with Jimi Hendrix.
