So I got my pizza.. my Stella and popped in my first dvd of the evening.. Mary J Blige LIVE from the House Of Blues... I'm only 20 minutes into the dvd.. and she RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPPSSSSSSSS it!! I love this girl.. she is so inspirational.. I love her I truly do.. she's like therapy!!!

Anyhoo.. I absolutely love her! I've been a fan since 1992... and her new album is due 12/20.. I can't wait! I just heard her new single and the video.. its very old school Mary.. what I would do to meet her.. :cry: she's such an inspiration to me..

Yeah I can't wait for the new one either. I've got most of here albums except for one. The new song is nice I didn't like it at first but it has grown on me.

She's on one of the songs by Will Smith on his new album.. She has a good voice. Unfortunately that's all I know about her, so that is the extent of my input. :)

She's one of those artists that i adore, but weirdly own nothing by them. :/

I know i have a few of her singles somewhere in my collection, but no albums, which is nuts, coz she's a fucking legend.

The passion and energy that woman has on stage never fails to blow me away, she's outstanding, and will go down in history! My fave songs of hers are (not sure if the names are right, sorry) 'Im goin down', 'No More Drama', 'Family Affair', 'All that i can say', '911' (the one with Wyclef), 'Real Love', 'Love @ first sight'....cant think of any others. But respect to her! :) :thumbsup:

Your are a Mary fan cause that's my favorite album as well such a raw piece of material. Every song on that album is excellent. I don't have the tour but I own all of the others. "Be happy is one of my all time favorite song off that album.

Anyhow, I just watched the boot of her doing One on stage with U2 in Vegas and I thought there was a lot of potential in that there song (I can't stand her solo version of it though) if they'd worked on it a bit more beforehand.

I haven't heard her do it solo.. :stunned: I only saw her duet with Bono during the MTV Katrina Relief concert.. mind showing me the way to such 'boot' :wink3:
