i live in cartagena. i posted some wonderful images on other forums. we live close the sea (we have a harbour-port), a lot of fortress. and we are one of the oldest cities in my country (spain) and europe. :D

This is Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Not where I am living currently, but I had lived there for 8 years before moving to the scum that was Oshawa, now I am in Waterloo (Kitchener) for school. But I hope to move back to Toronto once I am done.

Toronto has always reminded me of the colour Blue. :cool:

Atalayas

Fortress of "Fajardo".

 

Fortress of "Roldán"

 

The mountain of "La Muela".

 

The fortress of "Las cenizas"

 

The mountain of "Peñas Blancas" the highest mountain in my city (near 200 mts i think)

I live in Cartagena, time ago was called Qart hadast when was one of the most important ports of the Cartagenian (phoenician) in Spain (Aníbal barca).

Then the Romans call it Cartago Nova, we have a roman anphitheatre.

Also was bizantinian.

We have the older Cathedral of Spain, that was destroyed twice, were firsly were a muslim mosque.

Then on XIX century was a rich place where rich people built modernist houses, we were independet from Spain during a year on that century.

And we were an important military city since some years.

So as you see we are a very old city.

 

But really i was born in Valladolid. I'll told you about this city tomorrow. ;)

lol I was totally born in Montreal and I've lived there and I still do. I've moved a couple times in the same district but I still live in MTL. and I have a countryhouse in Vermont but that's not my hometown so haw.
