After listening to Low quite a few times,anyone else think it maybe should've been the first single?.Its totally edgy,rocky and quite different to anything thy've done before.A lot of people would have been "who the hells that?".Dont get me wrong,i like Speed Of Sound,but maybe its just a bit too "Clocks Part 2".

 

P.s this alb is going to be brill!.

If it's edgy, wouldn't that make it a bad first single? I haven't heard it yet, but I think the idea of a 'bridge-track' is pretty sensible.

i think sos fits fine, i personally love it

SOS is a great song but loads of people i know are saying "oh its just clocks again".Why not have a 1st single thats different and make people say "whos that" try and win new fans.

 

Perhaps Low isnt a good choice but maybe a rockier number.

I think it would be great to put out something 'unexpected' of Coldplay, but not as a first single.

I love Low! But i don't think it would have made a good first single, i imagine hardcore fans would have liked it, but it's not one thats going to immediately appeal to the masses, and so wouldn't do well as a first single with such a long break between albums.

Low is the best on the album

I think its gonna be the 2nd second.. after Yellow at Coachella martin says something along the lines of "in the next few months this will be one of your favorite, orgasm inducing song.."
