I'm about to leak the new album, just gimme a bit

Featured Replies

Hey I'm putting into Yousendit since that seems to be the quickest way. Might as well rapidshare it too so that the max people possible can get it when I put it up. Its rather large, 220mb, so it'll take a bit (especially since I'm wireless). So be a bit patient.

Ā

Oh, and White Shadows is by far the best song on the album.

Ā

(this wasn't me, some guy on the official forum: http://forums.coldplay.com/viewtopic.php?t=25252_

Has to be fake. What a dufus that guy is to post that on the official board.

  • Author

why is that?

Ā

Ā

don't call people a dufus, it makes you sound like you're 50. and if you are 50....well keep up the good work.

Well, i was going to say dumbass but felt it to be a little harsh :)

Because it'll get blocked on yousendit straight away, the record company are watching that board for leaks

Your internet only operates so fast (600k down/45k up for me) and wireless (802.11b transfers 11MB and 802.11g transfers 54MB) doesn't transfer any rates slower than being hardwired for anything online so how is it slower?

Ā

i love these threads.

Ā

i need a hug.

220mb is too small for an album...its a fake

no thats not too small for an album but yeah its fake

The common thread between all these fake leakers is that they complain of technical difficulties, post once, and leave for couple days. If they really did have it, they'd post it on the first post; not say "I have it" but "It's not here yet". Retarded.

Ā

No it's not, I got plenty of 32MB albums on my PC

Ā

Ā

*hugs bangbang* :P

Ā

if anything, it's too big. 13 tracks at 220mb would end up being about 17 MB a song, which is too big. the album's probably around 75-80mb.

haha' date='yeah, that radiohead forum is weird[/quote']

Ā

i love these quotes from that thread.

Ā

I love gay porn" is that the title track?

Still better than Wilco

Ā

What happened to the boys who wrote Parachutes? Who is responsible for the abduction and replacement of talented musicians in the Band Formerly Known As Coldplay?

Ā

I kind of agree with this in a way :)

To be honest i reckon you either are the person leaking it, or are connected. You only joined this site today! That thread on official only started half an hour ago, you'd have to either be a longtime reader of both forums who happened to be on the forum when that thread started, or someone with an agenda about this 'leak' to get over here to publiscise it that fast.

Ā

Just my thoughts :)

Ā

it can be any size actually. it just matters on the compression. I have some albums that are 50mb and others that are 120mb that are the same size in Time. Some could be 220mb if they're lossyless FLAC encoded.

Ā

MP3s in 128KB/192KB/256KB/320KB and Variable Data Rate are the common.
