Yep, I agree... The new lyrics totally freak me out :o

"Oh brother, I can't believe it's true..."??? "You can climb a ladder up to the sun..."??? "Write a song that's never been sung..."??? God, they don't belong there! Maybe this is their attempt at experimentation in contrasts and new styles, but the opening line sounds like it should go into a soul album :P The other lines sound WORSE than cliched...

 

But on the bright side, it does show that it's a brilliant song in terms of everything else since we all love it despite the rather crappy lyrics :rolleyes:

at first i absolutly hated it because i loved the 1st version...but its growing on me...

same!! but then i listened to the whole album, um, about 5 times yesterday (makes having to study not so bad ) and now i love it. i think id better give it a rest now... :rolleyes:

Well, I downloaded from Soulseek, supposedly was the Talk of X&Y but no was this one, I'm so glad of finding it!
