I've been inspired to start a thread on this band. Can i just tell you, I was obsessed with this band when i was younger and i still think they're pretty cool...

yay i just noticed this thread after posting on the american idol one. Major fan over here. They are awesome live, whatever chance u get go see them live, its worth it.

OMG!! I so wanna see them live!! My cousin saw them and she said that they rocked! I wanted to go, but i missed it..i'm so dumb..but next time, whenever that is, i'm soo there!!! :-D

yeah, they performed at this festival i was volunteering for and i got to see them perform front and center, and see their interview with Much Music. I wanted to take a picture of them while they were in their interview but if i would get cought taking a picture and with flash i would get kicked out, so stupid me decides to take a picture and i made sure that the flash was off but apparently it wasnt when i took the picture and it flashes. I almost peed in my pants, I ran out of there and thank god i didnt get caught. But it wasnt worth it cause the picture didnt come out.

I'm a FAN. I luv their music, they are so diverse in their albums and I like that. I saw them perform on TV for the Grammy's and they were cool. I have Rock Steady, I like Hella Good a lot :-D

i love rock steady, thats a great song! i wish they released that one instead of running or something like that

i thought of buying rosk steady but didnt. is it good? i have tragic kingdom and i like that. it was one of the first cd's i bought so it has emotionally value for me

My Tragic Kingdom CD is worn out..i played it soo many times!! I admired Gwen Stefani..hehehe...But they're still cool...who knew that Tony Kanal would become so cool?? hahaha... Hella Good is my party song..

i have both tragic kingdom and return of saturn, i havent listened to tragic kingdom in years and i worn out return of saturn. I dont have their latest one either but i do plan on getting some time in the future to continue my collection of no doubt cds.

I usually listen to Return to Saturn more than the other ones... :shrug:

i think their new stuff kind of well.....sucks. i think tragic kingdom was their best stuff. this new sound they've got annoys me!

it annoyed me at first too b/c i was so in love with Tragic Kingdom, but it's definitely grown on me..

No Doubt go ska for new album?

 

No Doubt are reportedly going back to their ska roots for their forthcoming album.

 

As previously reported members Tony Kanal, Tom Durmont and Adrian Young have been working on new material for the band since 2006.

 

Stefani hinted the album would go back to No Doubt's original sound. She said: "I'm coming to the end of a chapter, doing my own dance records.

 

"In the fall, I'll recod with No Doubt. I don't want to say for sure that it'll be ska but that it is where we started."

 

The album will be the first for the group since 2001's 'Rock Steady', reports Style magazine.
