June 4, 200521 yr Author Right. Done converting to .avi. Split up in two files though First file is 652 MB, second file is 159 MB. Need to split up the first file in two parts, so I can upload it to megaupload.com. Any tips? Some useful freeware perhaps?

June 4, 200521 yr ... guys. PLEASE don't make the only source some generated divx file. I collect dvds and this is just going to ruin the chance for something really great here. http://www.dimeadozen.org would be the best place to upload it easily, i've done hundreds of torrents there. If you can't get an account (you need to keep trying as there is a limit) then http://www.demonoid.com would be great as well. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't release it in only divx.
June 4, 200521 yr To create a torrent follow these steps (going from memory here, so forgive any sketchy areas).. 1. Download and install 'Make Torrent' 2. Open it and point to the directory where your DVD files are located and select 'all' 3. Where it says tracker add ' http://tracker.prq.to/announce' (if using thePirateBay). 4. Click 'create torrent now' and it'll make a .torrent file. 5. Go to http://www.thepiratebay.org and click on 'upload torrent' 6. Fill in all details for the file and upload the torrent. 7. Once it's uploaded you have to actually open the .torrent file yourself so you can seed it, otherwise people can't connect to you and access it :P

June 4, 200521 yr HAHA, the pirate bay? It'll be on ebay before they even finish downloading it. You had the right instructions almost, but there is no way this should be put on there. This is a live recording, not some pirated software or anything.
June 4, 200521 yr Well what most people forget to do is actually open the torrent themselves when they've created it, so I just thought I'd point it out :)
June 4, 200521 yr BTW the tracker has to be specific to the site you're uploading a torrent to or it wont work too. You can't just pick some random tracker.
June 4, 200521 yr torrentspy is blocking all coldplay things' date=' but..maybe it could work if you called it something else, like The Fir Trees or something ;) but, let us know what you name if, via PMs[/quote'] Oh it'll be up soon. Even if it's gonna take me all weekend, I will share this thing goddammit!! :D :D:D sweet m8 thx alot wts ur name btw? Marc. :idea2: here is the programe i actually inserted 2 programes a video spliter and a video joiner :) so cut them / upload them / post them :P at ur own free time ofcourse :)

Let's hope you can get the torrent tracker sorted coz then we can get the full dvd quality recording out there on the net.
June 4, 200521 yr yep, no pressure at all...although, i too am willing to leave my computer on for a week or so to let everyone who wants it, get it. DVD quality would be excellent
June 4, 200521 yr i say, best thing is to make a torrent of it...and if we all play nicely and share it and complete all the seeding etc...then we could all get it :) i'd be more than happy to keep my computer on day and night sharing it i'm with you :D
June 5, 200521 yr Author Sorry for the delay, but I'm planning on sharing it in 3 parts. And here.... is Part 3 of the Coldplay buzz gig in Amsterdam Parts 1 & 2 will be posted sometime tomorrow. Enjoy!
