no i think Coldplay feel they have more to offer, not everyone liked X&Y and i feel that they will make a CD that is different from the others .... i think theres at least a couple more albums in them yet

i don't think so... i think the best is yet to come... because they said x&y would be the best oh their albums and, 4 me, 'a rush...' it's better! but well, it's My opinion, and maybe it's beacause i haven't heard it too much...

for me all the 3 cd's are soo diferent that they shouldn't be compared

at the album launch gig at KOKO I remember Chris saying that he loves coming back to camden to play and that he would see back here in a two years or so (when they next album is released). They won't give up yet, I put my Coldplay collection on it.

Simple answer: no.

no, it can't be their last record....there is still the greatest hits package to look forward to!

...if the spin doctors can have a best of album, then coldplay is definitely entitled to one.

pretty good.. hungry tho! lol I think the next album(if any) will be a very difficult one... maybe touring and stuff will inspire them to make one new album, then defo a best of.. and thats it. :cry: that would complete their 5 record deal.

Well, I still hope that is a wrong prediciton. I need atleast 7 albums from these guys. And a greatest hits will be next to impossible. Almost their entire catalog sounds like one :)

they will make another album..its highly unlikely they wont...they have been around for 5 years, well 7 but their first cd came out 5 years ago...no band that big is just gonna call it quits after 5 years

I think they'll make atleast one more. I mean, X&Y is doing really good sales wise...but it got alot of mixed reviews. I think they're gonna do a damn good 4th album... put out a greatist hits and then that's it.

 

But who really knows...they could do 3 more albums for all we know !

No... :snore: Is this even a possibility? Even if the critics and half the world wished they'd disappeared, it just ain't gonna happen :lol:

 

But seriously... They'll definitely be doing more albums unless something gets between them and they break up, which looking at the way they've been going seems unlikely, provided they don't start taking one another for granted. They have been together so long now and they do seem to genuinely like each others company... that's not easy to fake.

 

But I digress. Whatever happens, there'll still be loads in their back catalogue that'll be enough to make 5 more album :D
