how many kids do you want?

Featured Replies

Babies vomit all over the place. They also shit themselves all the time. Who wants that? Not I. They are also loud and never add anything intelligent to conversation.

that's one way to look at it

Two words: TAX BENEFITS :P.

In Australia you get $5000 for each child you have :laugh4:.

haha, well to each their own. to me, babies are adorable, and i think it would be amazing to raise a kid from the very beginning. i've had a lot of experience teaching kids and being a live-in nanny, and i can't wait to be the authority when it comes to kids. it's annoying to have to check with the parents about everything and to have to work around their presence so you don't step on their toes or get in trouble with them, and it's also annoying to have kids not listen to you because "you're not mommy." i don't think i'm going to be the perfect parent or anything and that i'll be able to stamp out all annoying behavior, but i do have my own ideas about bringing up kids, and i can't wait to have the chance to do it my way.

what's with me and long posting tonight?

well, i've always decided i either wanted one (two if it's unavoidable), or like 7 :P. what's three more kids? :laugh3:

and christ, $5000? i think that's a bit less in australian dollars than it is in USD, but there's an incentive to move there...anyone know if there's a deal like that in the UK? :sneaky:

I'll move to Australia!

I'll hold you to that :laugh4: :laugh4:.

No theres not, not last time I was there (I used to live in the UK ;)), but! in the UK they have better crisp/chip choices so I dunno, its a tough one hey :P.

hahaha, good point. that's the main reason i'm moving to the UK anyway, of course :P

do they have paprika-flavored pringles in australia? because that would be a deal-breaker.

No we don't I'm sorry. Apparently its the best place for fresh food and stuff like that though. But I have to say, the UK = general food heaven. And TV. Maybe not weather :P.

We don't have Dr. Pepper - I have to be sad and drive to special import stores just to get some :laugh4:.

Lore - sure thing, its kinda hard to get in though, but I'll sneak you in inside a suitcase :p.

thanks, Chris :P

hmm, well the lack of paprika-pringles makes me sad. that's like reason #1 i'm moving OUT of the US.

and i think you might be the first person to say that the UK is general food heaven . no offense to british-types on here, that's just a stereotype and everything.

no dr. pepper i can live without, but what about mountain dew? that's another essential.

Really? I thought it would be twiglets! Twiglets are awesome. I don't like you anyways - after see your avatar over and over now I want twiglets, and the shop is closed on sunday :P. Paprika pringles are awesome hey, you have good taste .

Yeh probably, but you don't realise how good it is til' its gone. When I go visiting I go mad in Tesco :laugh4:. Just like when I go to the US I got mad in all the music stores.

Hmm, Mountain Dew we have it here, its alright. They have funny commercials but the drink is a bit wishy washy, nothing special :p.

twiglets aren't exactly my cup of tea. my mom sent me some for my birthday this year as a joke, but i had to try them, and it wasn't exactly a good experience . i think i could probably grow to like them if i had to, though.

i'm going to explore all british snackfoods extensively next year. it'll be part of my research :smart:

ANYWAY. ooh babies...

You don't like twiglets. JD inner monlogue *weeeirdo* :P.

You better. If not for anything but the fact I am telling you to do so :laugh4:.

Oooh yeh!! Babies. I want a couple. Love the name Liam for a boy and probably Ruby for a girl. Yes I have names :P.

i like it when guys already have names picked out, even though it might be considered girly. i'm actually kind of embarrassed by the fact that i already have names picked out, and i'm a girl :P

i like original names that are either ethnic or you never really hear often. my three boys names are orri, varyk, and korb. my first two girls names are a bit more average: anastasia and valentine. but my other girl's names are andromache and heima :P.

Hehe, thanks. And its cool you have names picked out, I'd expect chicks too!! :nice:.

Interesting name choices  :D. Nah seriously hey, each to their own, if some people think its weird tell 'em to shove off. Its cool! Esepcially Korb. Sounds badass!! I like the girls names as well :nice:.

When I first read Andromache, it sounded like a sci-fi show to me, :laugh4: sorry for being ignorant but I did chuckle to myself!! :P

haha, that's definitely my weirdest name, but i just really like the pronunciation for some reason, and you can create a bunch of nice nicknames from it. it's actually from greek mythology :wacky:

and yeah, i DEFINITELY have weird taste in names! but i just get so sick of hearing the same names over and over. i think they lose so much that way, at least for me, because i tend to associate certain things with the name (usually the first person i met with that name or something) and it's not about that individual anymore.

i'm really in a rambly, long-posting mood tonight. i think i need to go to bed.

Three kids at most. I don't think that I have the power for any more.

As for names...I've always loved the name Chloe for a girl. Chloe Nadine. But I also like the name Grace as well. And Audrey. And Natalie (catching the theme there?)

As for boys, maybe something badass, like Guy or James. :P

Then again, if I have kids with someone of a different nationality than me, I might take into consideration some names from their heritage as well.

I see you have thought a lot about this :D!!

All my friends have weird names. Like nobody else has them. And I am thinking 'your names are awesome stop saying they are bad!!' hehe. I see, so my name being Chris, am I associated with awesomeness!! I associate your name with McDonalds by the way, long story :laugh4:.

Leo or Shawn is a pretty cool name as well for guys ;).

When you said take into consideration their heritage I totally imagined like "Grace-Buddha" :P - I think the heat is getting to me.

I love the name Chloe . Just has a certain sound to it ya know.

Thats twice today on the forums, wait, on this page no less, people have said "thanks, Chris. :P" to me. I love/hate being a conversation killer :laugh4:.

No, you just give great insight to things. :D
