how many kids do you want?

Featured Replies

i want one. actually, i'd be fine with having two, but i'd want them to have at least 10 years age difference. i think i'd explode from stress if i had two close together, and growing up, i would have given anything to be an only child. i wanted twins for a while (a boy and a girl, preferably), and while i still think that's nice, i don't know if i could handle two babies at once.

i'm pretty young, but i think about having kids all the time . i wouldn't say i'm "feeling my biological clock ticking," but i really want a kid and i don't really want to put it off for too long. ideally, i'd want a little boy, and in a somewhat atypical bit of girliness, i have (very unusual) names already picked out .

i'd really love to adopt, but that can take years and is so expensive. i'm just not that excited about being pregnant, giving birth, or having to be all healthy while pregnant :P. and there are so many kids out there that need homes...i just don't know if i could afford it or wait long enough for the process to run its course.

I'm thinking of adopting too. Just as you said, there are millions of kids out there and there's no one to look after them so why not adopt one of those and make their lives a bit better? Besides, giving a birth scares the shit out of me :uhoh2:

haha, well i think it is considered pretty girly to have names picked out already. sorry nick :P. i actually think it's really cute, though.

i really like untraditional names that you don't hear all the time. my husband better be alright with that, because i absolutely refuse to have a kid with a traditional or trendy name . he also better like the names i have picked out :P

Yeah i'd also like to give my future kidos some unique names..but not too unique. It's not nice if no one ever knows how to pronounce them or spell them :\

Thank god it's possible to have kids on your own these days (if you're a female anyway..) so i can decide the names all by myself :wacky:

I don't think I'll ever be married but you know life  likes to throw things at you unexpectedly

I don't think i'm the marrying type either.. i just can't see myself being married but ah well, we'll see about that later.

I voted none. I've never really wanted children, I don't think I'd be a very good mother.

As an only child myself, if I ever did change my mind, I'd have two - I missed having another kid around when I was growing up.

I want 4! :D, I love kids! :D

Sorry Si, but when you married Bono you should have said you were a dude and unable to conceive by natural means :P.
