...the (new) bands that Coldplay like? (and not out of bias)

 

So as far as I know The Arcade Fire and Bloc Party... Someone can probably fill me in.

I don't really know who Coldplay like, but I find both of those bands average at best and don't really understand the huge hype around either of them.

 

But you know, to each his own and all that. :D

i like the arcade fire, bloc party are quite boring

I liked Bloc Party and Arcade Fire before I had any idea that Coldplay liked them. They are both stellar bands and awesome live.

I agree woth Justine... I havent heard too much of Arcade Fire... i got their album but havent listened to it properly, so far I like what I hear. As for Bloc Party.. I am diggin them.. liked them from even before..

 

I assume Coldplay also likes Interpol... and I think we all know where I stand on that one.. :cool:

Bloc Party are bloody fantastic. Great live band.

i don't see why Coldplay liking a band should enter into one of their fans suddenly saying 'Oh, they're good...' (unless that person has no will of their own)

what do you think about "keane" do you think it´s a copy of coldplay?

I've not really heard many songs by Bloc Party (3 at the most) but I really like everything I've heard so far. I really ought to buy the album.

no Keane are their own band, not a copy ... don't know if Coldplay are a fan but i'm sure they appreciate their music :)
