i know that this is the general chatter room so im just going to throw this out there but i love this new show rock star and I am such a big fan of coldplay and these people can really rock like them, its onCBS tongiht u guys should check it out

The show is terrible.. INXS was such a good band, and this just lowers them so much.

^i agree to some degree...but my fav. for now is the guy who sung Lithium-Nirvana..he did tht pretty well

I too want to voice my disapproval of this show, and point out that it basically does nothing but take a big metaphorical shit on everything Michael Hutchence did when he was alive.

I've only seen bits and pieces of the show... not quite an INXS fan I'm afraid...

so I am watching the replays on VH1.....

 

 

MIG is pretty good... and the girl with the dreads is awesome and the Seal wannabe (Ty) is brill!! The guy who did the rock version Baby One More Time... it was good.. but after hearing Embrace do it.. it didnt wooo me. I don't know which episode this is.. but thats the one one right now on VH1...

true he did have so much more of that michael hutchence air about him but inxs said they were in no way trying to find a michael hutchence look-a-like sound-a-like act-a-like or whatever. but i guess they could not have chosen a girl because... i'm all for equality but it would have been strange for inxs to be fronted by a girl after all their years with michael, and people like marty and ty and jordis were just a bit toooo different for the band. :(
