Well, we already know the second single will be Fix You, which I consider is a bad decision, I love that song, but it's not the single type... anyway... I hope the four singles will be:

 

1. Speed of Sound

2. Fix You

3. Square One

4. Talk

 

What do you think, I'd like to know if you agree...

"Swallowed in the sea" would make a good single. Also "Talk".

So far, we have 'Speed Of Sound' and 'Fix You'.

 

I'm guessing there'll be 4 singles, and I put my money on 'Talk' and 'White Shadows' next.

Square One & White Shadows. The last one has totally the single sound. And Square One...mmh the first song on an album is mostly maked well-known.

I hope the singles will be

 

1 Speed Of Sound

2 Fix You

3 A Message

4 Talk (But then I also love Low and White Shadows so I not really sure :lol: )

 

I also like What If but I don't think they will release 2 ballad type songs off the album (the other being Fix You)

 

I dunno, there's just too many good songs that are single material on this album! :lol:

Considering that the majority of Coldplay songs fall closer to balladry, it's quite safe to say a second ballad will be released; it'd be stupid not to. As I've said before, I don't see the band marketing "Talk", as it's not even an entirely original work, and "Square One" would not be very radio friendly(though neither is "Fix You", so I suppose that's not a prerequisite for them), and "Swallowed in the Sea" follows the same formula as "Fix You", so I don't see that happening, either. I'd bet money that "White Shadows" will be the third, with "What If" closing things out.("A Message" ought to make the cut, and given the abundance of material, they could get away with it being fifth.)

I love them to release "Square One" and "What If". They are both so brilliant :)

sos, fix you,talk(they should do both versions!), a message or what if...could kingdom come work? since it's hidden and all?

if i was 18 i'd have a bet on these being the four singles ...

(i think A Message but it could be White Shadows ... so definitely it will be the 4 out these 5)

Why not 5 or 6 singles? There are enough great songs on the album.

i think nearly every song on the album could be a possible single so it really is hard to have a bet ... What If would be a great single as well :D
